I didn't expect the pet duck that my little nephew bought casually to taste so good when I raised it.
These two ducklings were bought by my nephew when he went out to play at the end of last year. Unexpectedly, after less than ten days of raising, these two little guys were so big that they couldn't close the cage, and they kept screaming all day and night.
The family hated them and sent them to my aunt's farm. The two ducks were running around in the orange fields every day, eating leftovers from vegetables and leaves when they were hungry, and after five months of raising, they were already fat and strong.
The aunt divided the ducks into a household and took them home with half of them. I thought that the taste of this pet duck was not very good, but after making a shiso duck, I found that there was no smell, and the meat was thick and delicious.
The only bad thing is that it consumes firewood. After simmering for more than an hour, the duck meat is still real.
