Since the launch of the spring travel transportation of the Yangtze River Delta Railway, many high-speed rail tourism routes such as Beijing-Shanghai, Shanghai-Nanjing, Shanghai-Hangzhou, Hangzhou-Changzhou, Shanghai-Kunming, Hangzhou-Shenzhen and other high-speed rail tourism routes have continued to be popular, and urban scenic spots, famous cities and ancient towns, and suburban villages along the line have been sought after by many tourists. Judging from the statistics, after the spring, the passenger flow in the Yangtze River Delta region has increased significantly, especially on weekends and holidays, the proportion of high-speed rail travel continues to rise, driving the development of the tourism economy along the line, and the railway short-distance passenger transport market has grown explosively.
According to statistics, during the spring outing transportation, the Yangtze River Delta Railway sent more than eighty percent of passengers to Shanghai, Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Anhui and other places. Jiangsu sent nearly 29.1 million passengers, an increase of nearly 20 percent over the same period last year; Zhejiang sent nearly 23.2 million passengers, an increase of more than 10 percent over the same period last year; Anhui sent nearly 15.5 million passengers, an increase of more than 20 percent over the same period last year, the highest growth rate among the three provinces and one city; Shanghai sent more than 12.3 million passengers, an increase of more than 10 percent over the same period last year. EMU trains sent more than 69.1 million passengers, with an average of 2.15 million passengers per day, a year-on-year increase of 15%, accounting for 85.5% of the Yangtze River Delta railway passenger volume, of which 3.096 million passengers were sent by EMU trains on April 4, setting a record for the highest number of passengers sent by EMU trains in a single day.
During the period, the single-day passenger dispatch volume of many key tourist cities in the Yangtze River Delta hit a record high, and the single-day passenger volume of Yangzhou East, Lianyungang, Huai'an East and other stations has exceeded 20,000. Jinhua South, Lianyungang, Zhenjiang, Nantong West, Wuhu, Huangshan North, Bengbu, Tongcheng, Anqing and other 143 stations of spring tourists increased by more than 20% year-on-year, of which, Hangzhou West, Xuzhou, Changshu, Zhangjiagang, Xuancheng, Fuyang and other 85 stations of spring tourists increased by more than 30% year-on-year.
In order to meet the needs of tourists for spring outings, Shanghai Bureau Group has coordinated the transportation capacity arrangement, combined with daily, weekend, peak and spring travel transportation plans, implemented "one map per day", and added 47 pairs of EMU trains in key tourist cities such as Shanghai, Nanjing, Hangzhou and Ningbo, as well as popular tourist routes such as Shanghai-Nanjing, Shanghai-Hangzhou and Nanjing-Hangzhou.
It is worth mentioning that since March last year, under the joint promotion of the Shanghai Municipal Bureau of Culture and Tourism and China Railway Shanghai Bureau Group Co., Ltd., Shanghai Railway International Tourism (Group) Co., Ltd., Shanghai Spring and Autumn International Travel Service (Group), Shanghai Jiushi Tourism (Group) Co., Ltd., and Shanghai Airlines Holiday Travel Co., Ltd. have jointly initiated the establishment of the "Leyou Yangtze River Delta" tourism special train alliance, relying on the rich railway ties in the Yangtze River Delta and the rich cultural and tourism resources of cities along the line, high-quality planning of "Leyou Yangtze River Delta" A series of tourism special train products serve the Yangtze River Delta region to accelerate the construction of a unified tourism market. On the 22nd of last month, more than 100 Shanghai tourists took the "Shanghai Holiday Train, Happy Tour of the Yangtze River Delta" high-speed rail tourist special train from Shanghai Hongqiao to Lishui, Zhejiang, to start a three-day journey.
In addition, according to the needs of passenger flow, the group company has also increased the dynamic allocation of transport capacity, and adopted measures such as reconnection of EMU trains and additional vehicles of general-speed trains, so as to further expand the transport capacity of key routes and directions for spring travel such as Shanghai-Nanjing, Shanghai-Hangzhou, Shanghai-Kunming, Hangzhou-Shenzhen, Hangchang, Hefu and Ning'an. During the spring outing transportation, the Yangtze River Delta Railway added 1,461 passenger cars, arranged 5,956 EMUs to reconnect and operate, and added 1,807 vehicles, realizing the safe and orderly organization of passenger transport.
