In order to fully implement the overall national security concept, strengthen national security publicity and education, enhance the national security awareness of the whole people, and enhance the sense of national security responsibility and mission of the whole people, on April 15, the Yungang District Political and Legal Committee organized the district procuratorate and other political and legal units to carry out national security education and publicity in Pingwang Park.
At the event site, the procuratorial cadres and police publicized the importance of national security, behaviors endangering national security, citizens' rights and obligations in safeguarding national security, and how to report endangering national security through setting up propaganda points, distributing publicity materials, oral propaganda, etc., and reminded the masses to consciously safeguard national security. It also preached the "Counter-terrorism Law of the People's Republic of China" and the basic knowledge of counter-terrorism and terrorism prevention to the masses, guided the public to resolutely resist violent terrorist activities, prevent and avoid the danger of violent terrorism, enhance their ability to help themselves and each other, encourage the masses to actively participate in the fight against terrorism, and help build a strong national security defense line.
Through this on-site publicity, the people's awareness of "national security and everyone is responsible" has been improved, the sense of responsibility and mission of consciously safeguarding national security has been enhanced, a strong atmosphere of everyone participating in and jointly safeguarding national security has been created, and good legal and publicity effects have been achieved.
In the next step, the Yungang District People's Procuratorate will continue to do a good job in the normalization of national security education, strive to be the guardian of national security in the new era, further unite the strong joint force of safeguarding national security, and contribute to the defense of national security and social stability.
