On April 11, the third day of the third month of the lunar calendar, spring and Jingming, the sun is shining. In the East Gate Square of Hailian Temple, Chang'an District, on the bank of the Wei River, a unique elegant gathering event was held - Jiachen Hailian Longhua Poetry Club and the launching ceremony of the Chang'an Tang Poetry Culture International Art Festival. The significance of this activity is to promote the Tang poetry culture of Chang'an to the world through the establishment of the "Tang Poetry Culture International Art Festival", promote the cultural exchanges of countries along the "Belt and Road", and promote the development of the cultural tourism industry.
"On March 3rd, the weather was new, and there were many beautiful people on the waterside of Chang'an. As described in Du Fu's poems, Tang poetry recitation artists, poets, calligraphers, musicians, and martial arts enthusiasts from all over the province gathered together to show their talents and chant poetry in Tang costumes and Hanfu.
At the beginning of the ceremony, the Hailian Temple Buddhist Orchestra brought the aftermath of history to the venue with its melodious Buddhist music performance, making people feel like dreaming back to the prosperous era of the Tang Dynasty.
Mr. Wang Botai, a senior media person and cultural scholar, presided over the ceremony and invited the Cheng Xing team of Xi'an Hanfu Club to perform at the opening.
Venerable Kuan Hang, the presiding officer of Hailian Monastery, gave a welcome speech.
Ms. Wang Fangwen, President of the Silk Road Poets Federation and a famous poet, explained in detail the practical significance and historical status of the World Poetry Movement and the International Art Festival of Tang Poetry Culture, and affirmed the effective work done by the Organizing Committee of Chang'an "Tang Poetry Journey" in the past eight years. At the same time, she gladly accepted the position of honorary president of the Hailian Tang Poetry Society, and presented two of her works to the Poetry Society to express her best wishes.
At the opening ceremony of the Tang Poetry Festival, Mr. Wang Yuanping, director of the Organizing Committee of Chang'an's "Tang Poetry Journey", passionately introduced the origin and progress of the "Tang Poetry Journey" project in poetic language, hoping to get the support and attention of all walks of life for this cultural project that will benefit the future generations.
Mr. Nie Zhikuan, the 7th moral model of Shaanxi Province, and Ms. Wang Ling, President of Shaanxi Peihe Culture and Art Research Institute, delivered speeches to express congratulations and support respectively!
Zhang Guozhu, Secretary-General of the Organizing Committee of "Tang Poetry Journey", read out the proposal on the launch of the "Chang'an Tang Poetry Culture International Art Festival", marking the official launch of the art festival and the establishment of the art festival organizing committee.
Li Xianmei, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of Chang'an District Culture and Tourism Bureau, Wang Fangwen, Chairman of the Silk Road Poets Federation, Wang Yuanping, Director of the Organizing Committee of Chang'an "Tang Poetry Journey", and Zhang Li, Vice Chairman of Chang'an District Writers Association, unveiled the Hailian Tang Poetry Society.
Wang Qiuhui, chairman of the Chang'an District Calligraphers Association and member of the Chinese Calligraphy Association, led the calligraphers of Chang'an District to congratulate the organizing committee on their calligraphy works! Li Yaojun, president of the Harmony Academy of Chinese Studies, Li Jianen, president of the Oriental Academy of Painting and Calligraphy, Zhao Jiuzhen, president of the Xilanting Painting and Calligraphy Institute, and Li Jingning, chairman of the Yinglian Association and cultural scholar of the Yiyi District, respectively presented calligraphy works to congratulate them.
Mr. Han Gezi, President of Shaanxi Provincial Qianguo Lianguo College, recited the "Ode to the Sea Lotus of the Longhua Poetry Society" with passion, and opened the cultural and artistic performance activities of the poetry club.
The famous recitation artist Haiyin teacher "Send you a Chang'an" ignited the emotions of the audience, and the Chen Zhen Xingyi Fist brought by the Chang'an Laozi Cultural Sinology Research Institute, such as Guan Yiyang Finger, Gao Ming Iron Sand Palm, and Kun Yanfei Brand Stunt Performance Team's wonderful martial arts performance, which is refreshing. Many young artists of the Chang'an District Recitation Association performed Tang costumes and recited Tang poems. Feng Baoqin and Sun Xiaodong Qin Xiao ensemble "Yunshui Zen Heart", Tang poem recitation Jia Dao's "Evening Sunny See the South Peaks", Xun solo "Ask Buddha", Ruo Su and other 4 people recited Li Bai's "Near Wine", Zhao Rou and He Er's Xun Xiao ensemble "Empty Mountain Quiet", Li Fenglei recited Bai Juyi's "Pipa Xing", Liao Duo recited Li Qingzhao's "Slow Voice, Seeking and Seeking", Chang'an Writers Association's vice chairman and poet Tian Lina's original poem recitation, poet Zhang Wei recited "Remembering Li Bai", and Wang Yuanping, director of the Chang'an Tang Poetry Tour Organizing Committee, wrote a short essay "See all the Chang'an flowers in one day" Comment on the life of the poet Meng Jiao. The Tang poems brought by Qingling, Spring Rain, Zilan, and Lakeside Flying Geese pushed the atmosphere to a climax. The dance sent by Harmony College brought the event to an end.
The successful holding of this event has once again integrated the thousand-year-old temple of Hailian Temple with modern civilization, reflecting the cultural value of "one Hailian Temple, half of the long history". This is a pioneering initiative, marking the exploration and discovery of the combination of traditional cultural heritage resources and the cultural tourism industry to form a new quality of productivity.
