On April 12, the 2024 Xiuwu County Intangible Cultural Heritage Public Welfare Training Course hosted by the Xiuwu County Culture, Radio, Television and Tourism Bureau was held on the second floor of the Cultural City Library. The lecture invited Gao Ying, director of Jiaozuo Intangible Cultural Heritage Protection Center, and Wang Chenxi, teacher of Jiaozuo Intangible Cultural Heritage Department, to interpret the intangible cultural heritage items and the declaration of inheritors, and bring targeted and highly instructive lectures to the inheritors of our county.
The two teachers who were invited to give the lecture this time have rich practical experience in declaration. Combined with specific case analysis, Mr. Wang Chenxi interpreted in detail the declaration of intangible cultural heritage items and inheritors from different dimensions such as project categories, declaration requirements at all levels, and achievement analysis. She said that the direct purpose of identifying representative items and representative inheritors of intangible cultural heritage is to improve the visibility and influence of intangible cultural heritage, and the fundamental purpose is to mobilize the enthusiasm and consciousness of inheritors and ensure the vitality of intangible cultural heritage. Therefore, it is necessary to understand the principle of identification, be familiar with the application conditions, and analyze in detail the common problems in the filling of the project and inheritor declaration form and the project declaration form, such as the core skills are not highlighted in the resume, the inheritance pedigree is not clear and inaccurate, the focus of the apprenticeship is not prominent, the description of core knowledge and core skills is not clear, the contribution induction is not clear, and the classification is not accurate.

Qin Haijun, the successor of Dahongquan, said that through the introduction of Mr. Wang Chenxi, he learned about the significance and necessity of the recording of intangible cultural heritage items and inheritors, and more systematically understood the standards and requirements for the declaration of intangible cultural heritage items and inheritors, which has a good reference and guiding significance for the development of his own project recording work and follow-up declaration, and has benefited a lot.

In recent years, our county has attached great importance to the declaration of intangible cultural heritage items and inheritors, and has steadily promoted the systematic protection of intangible cultural heritage. Up to now, Xiuwu has a total of 91 four-level intangible cultural heritage items, including 1 national intangible cultural heritage representative project, 5 provincial intangible cultural heritage representative projects, 25 municipal or above intangible cultural heritage representative items, and ten categories of intangible cultural heritage such as traditional skills, folk customs, and traditional medicine are all covered.
