In order to further improve the fire safety of the corridor, eliminate fire hazards, and create a warm, comfortable and safe living environment. Recently, the Wutong Community Neighborhood Committee and Property Management of Jiading Industrial Zone have jointly carried out a special rectification action to clean up the piles of water and electricity meter boxes in the corridor and eliminate potential safety hazards.
Before the action, the community staff released remediation information through announcements, WeChat groups, and community clouds, publicized the potential safety hazards caused by the piles of materials in the corridors, called on residents to participate in the cleaning of the corridors, and mobilized residents to actively carry out self-cleaning. At the beginning of the operation, the staff carried out a "carpet" investigation and cleaning of the phenomenon of random piling in the building, and removed the waste wooden boards, waste cartons, old flower pots, and decoration waste that had been piled up in the water and electricity meter boxes in the corridor for a long time. The sundries, cartons and other flammable materials piled up around the fire box were cleaned up. For the "knock on the door" action in the corridor with serious piles, the staff patiently communicated and persuaded to cooperate with the completion of the clean-up work when encountering residents who were resistant.
In order to consolidate the results of rectification and prevent the rebound of the phenomenon of indiscriminate stacking, the community will "look back" at the piles in the water and electricity meter boxes in the corridor from time to time, form a long-term mechanism for cleaning and remediation, and strive to create a safe and comfortable living environment.
