The Beijing Municipal Development and Reform Commission recently introduced that the city will promote the construction of 300 key projects in the city this year, support the high-quality development of investment with the implementation of major projects, and achieve effective improvement in the quality of investment and reasonable growth in quantity.
Among them, the Universal Studios North Comprehensive Transportation Hub in the sub-center of the city will be completed this year.

★ Universal Studios North Integrated Transportation Hub
The project is located on the north side of the cultural tourism zone, adjacent to Wansheng South Street in the north and close to Qunfang Station of Metro Line 7, with a land area of about 2.2 hectares, a total construction area of about 84,660 square meters, a plot ratio of 2.15, and a building height of 24 meters (45 meters in part).
It is understood that in mid-January this year, the main structure construction of the Universal Studios North Comprehensive Transportation Hub has been completed, and it has been transferred to the stage of mechanical and electrical and façade installation operations, which is expected to be completed by the end of this year.

As an important transportation distribution center of the Universal Theme Park, this hub is different, it is a TOD integrated complex of "hub + star hotel + business", which not only integrates rail transit, ground buses, taxis, cars and other multi-integrated transfer functions, but also adds commerce and hotels, and the top of the hub will also create a garden landscape to form an open and green urban block public space.
At the same time, there are social parking spaces to meet the needs of citizens for traffic transfer and emergency parking for peak passenger flow, and improve the travel experience of the sub-center.
In the future, the integrated transportation hub will also undertake the accommodation and consumption needs of the overflow of tourists from the Universal Resort, and further improve the facilities of the Universal Expansion Zone.
