Note:
Shen Mai Point: Located in the lower one centimeter of the center of the outer malleolus of the foot. It has the effect of replenishing yang and invigorating qi and channeling water and dampness. In my clinical practice, I have observed patients with diarrhea who generally have varying degrees of tenderness around the Shenmai acupoint, and when acupuncture is done on this acupoint, the bowel sounds will be enhanced. For all kinds of acute and chronic deficiency and cold diarrhea, the operation is simple, and moxibustion can be used for this acupoint.
Lumbar pain point: Located on the back of the hand, between the second and third metacarpal bones and the fourth and fifth metacarpal bones, when the wrist stria and the midpoint of the metacarpophalangeal joint, there are two acupoints. He is good at treating renal colic caused by acute lumbar sprain and kidney stones.
Sanyin Jiao Point: On the inner side of the calf, when the tip of the inner ankle of the foot is 3 inches, behind the medial border of the tibia. As the name suggests, this acupoint is the intersection of the Zutai Yin and Spleen Meridians, the Zushao Yin and Kidney Meridians, and the Zu Yin and Liver Meridians, which has the effect of invigorating blood and regulating menstruation, invigorating qi and strengthening the spleen, and cultivating and replenishing the liver and kidneys. This acupoint can replenish the spleen and kidney, and is an important acupuncture point for diluting water and dampness.
