The place to eat in the temple is called "Gokando", and eating is also called "passing the hall", and there are indeed some rules. When the brothers are cooking for everyone, we can use gestures to represent whether and how much is needed. The most important thing to note is that the food in the bowl must be eaten and must not be wasted. Of course, even if it is not in the temple, not a single meal or vegetable can be wasted, and everything in the temple comes from the offerings of the ten good believers, plus the motivation of the senior brothers of Daliao. "A grain of rice is as big as Mount Meru", wasting a grain of rice is wasting a lot of our blessings.
03 The magic weapon will not break when knocked?
When you enter the temple and enter the hall, you must observe the basic rituals of the Buddha.
You can't make loud noises in the hall, listen carefully when you explain and raise your hand if you have any questions.
When it comes to the ritual utensils placed in the hall, such as wooden fish and rocks, the sound is made when struck, and some people are curious and want to try it.
But this is a magic weapon, just like an order in the army, when the magic weapon sounds, it will act according to the call.
Therefore, do not tap the Dharma instrument without the permission of the monks.
04 Dip some auspiciousness and take it home quietly?
Everyone likes the items that the Dharma Master came out of because the items enshrined in the temple hall have the blessings of the Buddha and Bodhisattva, and the blessings of the Dharma teachers chanting sutras in the morning and evening classes, which is indeed very auspicious. However, it should be noted that without the permission of the temple and the teacher, except for the scriptures on the "Sutra Bonding Rack", the items enshrined in the temple must not be taken privately. In a temple, you must not take advantage of it. There are many volunteers in the monastery, dedicated to serving the public, regardless of their position, without receiving remuneration, and after fasting in the Wuguantang, they will also put merit money in the merit box, which is the practice of truly knowing how to cultivate good fortune for themselves.
