In 2013, the increasingly intensified contradictions within the Zhejiang women's basketball team finally reached the point where they could not be reconciled. The main striker Bian Lan and the then head coach Li Xin had a fierce quarrel over the use of tactics, and the words of both sides accusing each other became more and more ugly, and the scene was extremely chaotic for a while. After the quarrel failed, Bian Lan simply took the lead in organizing a collective strike of the team to express her strong dissatisfaction with the head coach.
