Huzhou is located in the south of the Jiangnan, although the mountains and rivers are far away, but the countryside is big, and the wind of dancing and informing is particularly hot. In the face of this reality, Wu Qi later talked about the mentality at that time in the text: "When a certain person was ordered, he swore not to do anything with it, got off the bus, did not hesitate, did not hesitate, did not hesitate to do the truth, and did his best to create a great wound", "to get rid of adultery and get rid of it, to go to the violence and lead first, so that the rabbits were confused, and the birds were killed and burned."

As soon as Wu Qi arrived at his post, he was not afraid of adultery and violence, did not lure for profit, thwarted the strong, and punished bandits. At that time, there were traitors Wang Shi and Wang Chun who committed crimes in the localities, and the great officials rushed to investigate, because "the party and the disk exchanged thousands of people, and they did not dare to do anything." After Wu Qi learned about the situation, he acted decisively and vigorously, and ordered him to be arrested and killed. This time, the people's hearts were very happy, and tens of thousands of people in the county were watching, and the incense was burned on the lake, and the ashes were piled up. After that, he made a big fuss and made a big fuss, cursing the fierceness of Ling lake, chasing the violence of Nanxun, capturing the party of West Lake, and killing the evil of Shengshe, and for a time the local public order and social atmosphere were greatly improved. The people were grateful for their kindness, and on the day of Wu Qi's birthday, the father and the old children filled the streets and overflowed the alleys, cooked sheep and walked in the hall, and tens of thousands of people came to wish, which had never been done before.
