Originally based on a trolley, Silver Mine Bake now has branches in Sheung Wan and Macau, attracting many diners. Basic flavours include Original, Chocolate, Cheese, Meat Floss, Purple Sweet Potato and Matcha, as well as the much-anticipated limited-edition pumpkin meat floss. When I went to the store that day, there was a long queue of people, and the taste was all in this bag of mochi.
The oncoming aroma is almost mouth-watering.
The signature chocolate, rich chocolate, moderate sweetness, soft and glutinous taste is mixed with delicate chocolate grains, one bite down, as if in a chocolate wonderland.
And the most exciting thing is the pumpkin meat floss mochi bobo, which is crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, and has a tough taste.
