iOS is also not safe?Cybersecurity company says Apple's iOS16.2 collects sensitive data!
Cybersecurity company Kaspersky released a report in June this year, saying that it had discovered a very sophisticated, high-end iMessage vulnerability, named "Operation Triangulation", which can implant malicious programs that collect microphone recordings, photos, geolocation and other data, and the specific function was released in the previous system version of Apple's iOS 16.2.
Security researchers say it's the most complex attack chain they've ever seen, and believe the vulnerabilities also involve hardware capabilities that are unknown to the outside world.
Operation Triangulation uses 4 zero-day vulnerabilities and targets iPhones running iOS 16.2 or earlier.
