On the afternoon of May 23, OPPO officially released the new OPPO Reno12 series mobile phones. The Reno12 series of mobile phones launched this time adopts a four-curve soft-edge straight screen design, and the price starts from 2699 yuan.

The collection offers a choice of six stylish colorways. The standard version is available in Millennium Silver, Soft Peach, and Ebony Black, with a thickness of 7.3mm (7.25mm in Ebony Black), and weighs 179g, while the Reno12 Pro is available in Silver Purple, Champagne Gold, and Ebony Black, with a thickness of 7.55mm (7.6mm in Silver Purple) and a weight of 183g (184g in Silver Purple).

The Reno12 series is OPPO's first mobile phone with a four-curve soft-edge straight screen design, using a 6.7-inch 2412×1080 OLED four-curve soft-edge straight screen, supporting 120Hz refresh rate (adjustable to 60/90/120Hz), 2160Hz high-frequency PWM dimming, maximum brightness up to 1200nit, supporting Pro XDR display and 070 million color display, and also equipped with Corning Victus 2 protective glass.

In terms of images, the Reno12 series first supports posting live photos on Xiaohongshu. According to reports, OPPO Reno12's live photos can be superimposed with OPPO's classic beautification effects, support for superimposing a variety of filter effects, support for full focal length, support for front and back, and the default cover frame supports ProXDR display. The front camera of the Oppo Reno12 is 50MP (Samsung S5KJN5, 1/2.75") and the rear camera is 50MP main camera (Sony LYT-600, 1/1.95", with OIS) + 8MP ultra-wide angle (Sony IMX355, 1/4") + 50MP portrait telephoto (Samsung S5KJN5, 1/2.75", 2x optical zoom). The Oppo Reno12 Pro, on the other hand, replaces the rear main camera with a 50MP main camera (Sony IMX890, 1/1.56-inch, with OIS), and the other camera specifications are the same as the Oppo Reno12.

In terms of performance, the OPPO Reno12 debuts with the MediaTek Dimensity 8250 Star Express chip, while the OPPO Reno12 Pro is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9200+ Star Speed Edition chip, and both models are equipped with LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 3.1 flash memory.

In terms of battery life, the OPPO Reno12 series is equipped with a 5000mAh battery, which supports 80W fast charging, which can be charged up to 55% in 20 minutes, and can be fully charged in 43 minutes, and the battery supports 1000 charging and discharging cycles, which is still durable for 4 years.
