In order to effectively improve the comprehensive response capacity to environmental emergencies, strengthen the awareness of the main responsibility of corporate environmental safety, and improve the emergency response mechanism for environmental emergencies, on December 18, Jialing Ecological Environment Bureau and Nanchong Sibo Yingdong Environmental Protection Energy Co., Ltd. jointly carried out the 2023 annual emergency drill for environmental emergencies.
The emergency drill set up an emergency headquarters, emergency response group, rescue team, emergency monitoring group, logistics support group, material support group and other 8 groups, the drill simulated the sewage treatment station staff inspection found that the biogas slurry tank pipeline leaked, the biogas slurry penetrated into the ground through the leakage point, and the sewage flowed out through the underground pipe network of the plant. Each group initiates a response in accordance with the emergency plan for environmental emergencies, carries out on-site vigilance and evacuation of surrounding personnel, and organizes emergency personnel to block the rainwater inlet in the plant and quickly and safely collect and treat the polluted water body, and the environmental monitoring team samples and tests the wastewater in the emergency pool and reports the environmental test results in a timely manner. With the full cooperation of the emergency response teams, the accident has been effectively controlled, the environmental risks and hidden dangers have been eliminated, and the losses caused by environmental pollution have been minimized.
The drill effectively tested the practicability and effectiveness of the emergency plan for environmental emergencies and the on-site disposal plan, and achieved the expected effect of the run-in mechanism and the training team. The development of this activity not only strengthened the comprehensive emergency response ability of information sharing and collaborative operations between the government and enterprises to deal with environmental emergencies, but also popularized the characteristics of environmental emergencies, emergency procedures and self-rescue and mutual rescue skills, and accumulated valuable experience for strengthening the capacity building of the emergency response team of enterprises in the jurisdiction.
