At the 2023 Maternal and Child Health Work Conference of Yongzhou City, Jianghua Yao Autonomous County was commended for the five key tasks of maternal and infant safety guarantee, prevention of mother-to-child transmission of Aimei B, key livelihood projects, birth medical certificate management and treatment of critically ill pregnant women and newborns, and was the county and district with the most commendations in the city.

Adhere to the four focuses to help children grow up healthily

Jianghua Yao Autonomous County has always put children's health care work in a prominent position, focusing on work goals, work priorities, and work problems, innovating work measures, strengthening connotation construction, improving service quality, and effectively promoting the steady improvement of children's health in the county, and successfully established as the first batch of demonstration counties for comprehensive development of children in Hunan Province in 2023. Focusing on the key point of high-risk child management, the high-risk child management center of Jianghua Maternal and Child Health Hospital has innovated its work measures, adopted a sub-contract system, and implemented a "four ones" management model of a special class, a responsibility list, a work group, and a monthly phone call with townships and towns as a unit, so as to "cover all the high-risk children in the jurisdiction". In the past three years, 2,683 high-risk children have been followed up and guided, and 1,320 high-risk children have been intervened early. Adhere to the four measures of "usual online quality control, monthly meeting evaluation and scheduling, quarterly supervision and notification, and semi-annual assessment", check and fill in the gaps in the county's child health service work, continue to track the rectification of problems, and continuously improve the quality of grassroots children's health services. In recent years, the county's child health management rate has reached more than 98%, and the mortality rate of children under 5 years old and neonatal mortality rate has decreased steadily, all of which are controlled within the national, provincial and municipal targets. Set up a children's health examination team to conduct health examinations for more than 15,000 collective children in 75 childcare institutions in the county every year. Strictly prevent birth defects and improve the level of eugenics

Jianghua is located at the junction of Hunan, Guangdong and Guizhou provinces, is a high-incidence area of thalassemia, in order to do a good job in the prevention and control of birth defects, reduce the birth defects of children, Jianghua has always adhered to the "prevention first" and "move the threshold forward", and build a birth defect prevention and treatment system covering all stages of marriage, pregnancy, pregnancy, newborns and children. With marriage examination and pregnancy examination as a breakthrough, we have promoted the one-stop service of marriage examination and pregnancy examination, and resolutely grasped the first pass of birth defects, with a marriage examination rate of 98.32% and a pre-pregnancy eugenic examination completion rate of 100%. In 2021, the hospital was recognized as a prenatal screening technical service institution in Yongzhou City, further standardizing the prenatal screening service process, realizing county and township linkage, and strengthening the tracking and management of high-risk groups. The county completed prenatal screening for 2,751 people throughout the year, with a task completion rate of 110.04%. The number of people who were screened for thalassemia was increased from 2,776 in 2016 to 6,412, the number of people tested for thalassemia electrophoresis increased from 611 in 2016 to 3,994, and from 2016 to 2023, a total of 147 couples of couples with the same type of thalassemia were detected, and 22 cases of thalassemia severe children were avoided.

Rural women's awareness of the prevention and treatment of "two cancers", the rate of policy awareness and the rate of active participation in the examination have increased year by year, and 8,954 cases of two cancers have been screened this year, with a task completion rate of 102.92%. A total of 170 patients with low-grade cervical lesions, 53 patients with high-grade cervical lesions, 12 patients with cervical cancer, and 5 patients with breast cancer were found to have been treated in a timely manner. The county maternal and child health hospital implements one-to-one project management for the positive subjects screened, establishes a special file for each positive subject for screening, comprehensively records the basic condition and examination results of the patient, and tracks the treatment and recovery of the positive patients throughout the process, so as to achieve the purpose of early detection, early diagnosis and early treatment, effectively safeguard the lives and health of women, and effectively improve the happiness and sense of gain of the women.
