IELTS One Skill Retake means that only a single subject is retaken, not all four subjects. At present, Australia, Azerbaijan, Bangladesh, Cambodia, Canada, Colombia, Egypt, Ethiopia, Hong Kong, India, Kenya, Kuwait, Lebanon, Macau, Malaysia, Singapore, New Zealand, Oman, Pakistan, Papua New Guinea, the Philippines, Poland, Qatar, Romania, Saudi Arabia and some universities in the United Kingdom accept IELTS individual skills retake. In Hong Kong, only candidates who have taken the official IELTS test once after October and the test format is computer-based can choose to retake the IELTS test in a single section. It is important to note that the IELTS score is valid for two years, not three years for the immigration office. Some universities, such as the University of Sydney, have already accepted IELTS retakes.
