In the paddy field, the rice seedlings grow luxuriantly, and in the sweltering weather, the workers carry more than 100 pounds of fertilizer machines on their backs and forths in the field, and the slow-release fertilizer is sown into the field through the fertilizer running machine to promote the growth of rice.
Pan Guilin, a staff member of shanghai Jinzhao Rice Planting Professional Cooperative, introduced that this year, all 1,000 mu of rice in the base have completed the machine planting work and begun to enter the busy field management stage. However, unlike previous years, this year the cooperative purchased third-party fertilization services, which not only saved labor, but also greatly improved the fertilization efficiency.
This year, the rice planting area in Langxia Town is nearly 15,800 mu, and the planting work has entered the end at this stage. In addition, the planting of nearly 185,000 mu of rice in Jinshan District this year is also expected to be completed around June 20. At present, agricultural technicians in Jinshan District have gone deep into the fields to guide the peasant masses to do a good job in rice planting, fertilization, irrigation, and comprehensive prevention and control of diseases and insect pests, so as to ensure a bumper harvest of grain in the summer this year.
