In March this year, the General Office of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs and the General Office of the China Federation of Literary and Art Circles issued the "Work Plan for the Revitalization of National Rural Culture in Action", which requires in-depth excavation of rural historical and cultural characteristics and connotations, guiding social forces to participate extensively, expanding and extending the rural cultural industry chain, creating cultural brands, and promoting the in-depth integration and development of agriculture, culture and tourism.
Located at the foot of the Jinshanling Great Wall, Hualougou Village, Luanping County, Hebei Province, has a group of peasant photography enthusiasts who love to take pictures of the Great Wall. In the 80s of the last century, the Jinshanling Great Wall was opened to the outside world, and many Chinese and foreign photography enthusiasts came here, and local farmers helped tourists backpack and guide while running homestays. Since then, many farmers have learned to take pictures through hearing and seeing, and more and more farmers have picked up their cameras and used their lenses to record the Jinshanling Great Wall. In recent years, villagers Zhou Wanping, Duan Jiujun and others have taken pictures of the Jinshanling Great Wall, which have won domestic and foreign awards, attracting more people to visit the Jinshanling Great Wall. In February 2023, 14 peasant photography enthusiasts from Hualougou Village came to Beijing and walked into the exhibition hall of the House of Literary and Art Artists of the China Federation of Literary and Art Circles to participate in the exhibition of excellent photographic works.
Tell the story of the Jinshanling Great Wall, and help the comprehensive revitalization of the countryside with the photography industry. In April this year, relying on the power of peasant photography enthusiasts at the foot of the Jinshanling Great Wall, Hualougou Village completed the construction of a photography exhibition hall of more than 400 square meters, more than 10 exhibition halls and nearly 200 works in the Party and Mass Service Center of Hualougou Village, attracting many tourists to visit and study.
