In order to promote the special rectification of traffic safety around the campus and effectively alleviate the problem of road traffic congestion during the upper and lower school hours around the campus, on October 22, 2021, Yang Xiaoming, deputy governor of the Lanping County People's Government, secretary of the party committee and director of the county public security bureau, led the government office, the command and security department of the county public security bureau, and the relevant staff of the traffic police brigade to carry out research and investigation in a small and kindergarten in the urban area. Deputy County Governor Yang Xiaoming listened to the report of the traffic police brigade and related staff on the traffic environment around the campus, learned more about the traffic order control of the school's road surface during the upper and lower school hours, the order of vehicle parking, the setting of traffic safety facilities, the deployment of police forces and the allocation of school security duty forces, and inspected the road conditions around the campus and the configuration of nearby parking lots.
In view of the problems of random parking and traffic congestion during the upper and lower school hours of students around the campus, after property coordination and consultation between Deputy County Governor Yang Xiaoming and the developer of Yuping Panshan Mansion, the underground parking lot of Yuping Panshan Mansion was extended from 15 minutes to half an hour. Vehicles transporting students during peak hours can be parked in the parking lot of the community, and all fire passages are opened for students and parents to pass, thereby effectively improving the traffic order on the roads around the school and solving the prominent problems of traffic jams during students' school trips.
Deputy Governor Yang Xiaoming put forward four requirements for further maintaining the safety and order of road traffic around the campus: First, widely publicize and take multiple measures at the same time. A small school and kindergarten in the urban area widely publicize the parking specifications for pick-up and drop-off vehicles to teachers, students and parents, increase publicity, and improve the awareness rate of the parking time of the underground parking lot of Yuping Panshan Mansion to half an hour through various ways; the second is to actively guide and create an atmosphere. Traffic police, police stations, school security, and property should increase police forces and staff during peak periods, actively guide parking order, and cultivate the good habit of picking up and dropping off student vehicles to consciously stop in the underground parking lot of Yuping Panshan Mansion; the third is to check hidden dangers and ensure safety. Schools, property and traffic police departments should grasp and manage together, do a good job of traffic safety hazards according to the actual situation around the campus, strengthen the rectification of random construction, random parking, random stacking and other phenomena, eliminate all kinds of potential safety hazards in a timely manner, and ensure that the social security and traffic order around the campus are smooth, orderly, safe and harmonious; the fourth is scientific research and judgment, and accurate rectification. For the problems found in the governance, all relevant departments should study in depth, take one policy at a time, and accurately rectify them.
