The finals of the 2021 Shanghai Cross-Strait Youth Entrepreneurship Competition came to a successful conclusion yesterday in Jinshan Industrial Zone. The winning projects that stand out in the competition are all infinitely creative, bringing people unlimited surprises and reverie.
The project that won the first prize was the new artificial intelligence orthopedic surgical robot project from Dezhihong (Shanghai) Robot Co., Ltd., which is a highly interdisciplinary integration of medical and engineering projects.
The project leader Luo Yi is a doctor of the Department of Robotic Automation of the University of Heidelberg, Germany, under the guidance of Professor Valberg, the world's first person in robotic orthopedic surgery, nearly 20 years of deep cultivation in the field of surgical robots, with a number of technical patents, the main creative members of the project team are all from Germany, and are currently settled in Jinshan Industrial Zone last year, which is about to achieve industrialization.
According to reports, since the Shanghai Cross-Strait Youth Entrepreneurship Competition was held in 2016, after 6 years, it has attracted 7,000 young talents from both sides of the strait and 2,776 high-quality projects at home and abroad to participate, which has become an important brand of youth entrepreneurship work on both sides of The Golden Mountain. A total of 543 projects were collected for this competition, including 218 mainland projects, 266 Taiwan projects, 38 Hong Kong and Macao projects, and 21 overseas projects.
According to the field statistics: 110 projects in the field of new generation information technology, 156 projects in the field of life and health, 125 projects in the field of intelligent manufacturing, and 152 projects in the field of culture and creativity. Among the top 20 finalists, Taiwan Youth participated in 8 projects, of which 4 were cross-strait cooperation projects, an increase of 3 compared with last year.
The participant of the project face & future from Taiwan is a Shanghainese Lusheng who is currently studying for a doctorate on the island of Taiwan, and she cooperated with Taiwanese classmates to participate in the Youth Innovation Competition held in Shanghai, which is the embodiment of the deep integration of young people on both sides of the strait.
The finals were contested in the form of a project roadshow, an on-site defense, and a bright score on the spot. A jury composed of 5 well-known technical experts and heads of investment and financing institutions reviewed the participating projects from multiple dimensions such as industrial landing, innovation highlights, business models, technological advancement, market prospects, and core teams, and tapped the highlights and potential of enterprises.
After each competition, the Shanghai (Jinshan) Cross-Strait Youth Entrepreneurship Base will dock with excellent projects and actively help potential projects to settle in the base. In the early stage of settlement, Qingchuang Base will minimize the cost of innovation and entrepreneurship, and have more one-stop landing supporting policies and all-round agency services.
In addition, Qingchuang Base also actively integrates government departments, industry associations, well-known enterprises, colleges and universities and media resources to provide technical support, policy support and publicity for the project, and help open up market channels. In addition, the base has successively launched a series of preferential measures such as training, rent reduction and reduction, and talent apartments to alleviate the pressure on project funds and enhance the enthusiasm of young people for entrepreneurship.
