On August 14, 2022 local time, in East Sussex, England, a member of the Ordinary Riders Alliance participated in the Beech Point Mountaineering TT World Championships held at Cape Beech. Rider representatives from Germany, Belgium, the Netherlands, the United States, Ireland and the United Kingdom competed in the uphill race from almost sea level to the top of Beach Point, with heights approaching 500 feet (150 meters), and the annual race is also gaining popularity as the number of big and small wheel cyclists increases.
