Microsoft Windows App SDK 1.1 Preview 3 released

IT Home May 7 news, the Windows App SDK is Microsoft's integration of Win32 desktop applications and UWP application key technologies, using WinUI 3 as a development kit of the UI framework, representing the next step in the development of Microsoft's Windows application development platform.

Recently, the Microsoft Windows App SDK ushered in the 1.1 Preview 3 version, bringing Mica and Background Acrylic to WinUI 3 applications.

Microsoft Windows App SDK 1.1 Preview 3 released

Mica is a new effect introduced by Microsoft in Win11, unlike Acrylic (acrylic) in Win10, it is not translucent and the texture has changed. Background Acrylic, on the other hand, can make the window background of a WinUI 3 app appear acrylic blur.
