The "Why China" exhibition is coming to an end, but the "Why China" exhibition will continue forever

The Palace Museum's 2022 annual exhibition "Why China" will be launched on January 26 and is scheduled to be exhibited until May 6, with an exhibition period of 100 days, which is about to end after the "May Day" holiday.

During this time, many cultural enthusiasts watched and spread on the spot, and more friends learned to appreciate through the Internet. Whether it is on-site visit or network appreciation, it is an incomparably happy thing for every cultural enthusiast. In the shortest time, everyone did not have to walk too much, but saw more than 130 pieces (sets) of town hall treasures from 30 museums. I went to the exhibition hall 3 times, opened my eyes, increased my insights, learned knowledge, and produced 50 videos and more than 40 graphics.

Looking back on the exhibition, I would like to thank the curators for their new concept, which regards the 5,000-year-old civilization of China as a great river, and compares the origin, inheritance and development to the source, flow and confluence of the river. With the three units of "source", "flow" and "convergence", it shows the cultural characteristics of Chinese civilization as diverse, integrated, continuous and inclusive, expounds the historical context of the origin and development of Chinese civilization, the brilliant achievements of Chinese civilization, and the major contributions of Chinese civilization to human civilization, and summarizes and clearly presents the "why China" of China.

"Why China" exhibition is coming to an end, but the seeds of "Why China" have long been planted in the hearts of each of us, we will consciously spread national treasures and cultural relics, so that more people can feel the artistic value and cultural significance of cultural relics through appreciation, the Chinese cultural context is far away, the wisdom and charm of the ancients, I hope that everyone will work together to fulfill the mission and responsibility entrusted to us by the times, so that cultural relics can come alive, truly become an effective carrier of Chinese cultural heritage, extend future generations, benefit future generations, and enhance cultural self-confidence.
