On May 1, Weilai announced the delivery volume in April, delivering a total of 5,074 smart electric vehicles, of which 693 units of the smart electric flagship car ET7 were delivered. By the end of April 2022, the total delivery volume of several pure electric vehicles of ES8, ES6, EC6 and ET7 under NIO reached 197912 units.
Previously, on April 26, a South Pole Star Blue NIO ET7 drove out of the detection line, and NIO's 200,000th mass production car officially rolled off the production line. From May 2018 to April 2022, NIO reached 200,000 mass production vehicles off the production line in less than four years. Among them, the second 100,000 vehicles off the production line took a year.
The roll-off of the 200,000th production vehicle is an important milestone in NIO's overall acceleration in 2022. The new models ET7, ET5 and ES7, which were born on THEO technology platform NT2, will be delivered one after another, and the 2022 ES8, ES6 and EC6 models equipped with the latest smart cockpit hardware, as well as the existing user smart cockpit upgrade plan, will be released soon.
