The first International Chao Opera Cultural Training Course for Inheritors of Intangible Cultural Heritage of China was successfully opened at the Chao Theatre in Guangdong on April 1, focusing on the protection and inheritance of intangible cultural heritage, Yao Xuanqiu's artistic achievements, the changes in Chao opera, the sharing of creative experiences, the characteristics of opera art, etc., and 25 in-service cast members from Guangdong Chao Theatre, Chenghai Culture and Art Heritage Center, Puning Chao Opera Troupe, as well as 22 online observers from Hong Kong, Macao and overseas. With Professor Chen Jingxi, a "famous artist of propaganda culture in Shantou City", as the project leader, Yao Xuanqiu, a famous Chao opera performance artist, as the class teacher, and international Chao opera culture as the main training content, the class teaches the inheritors of intangible cultural heritage Chao opera skills, expands horizons and enhances cultivation, which is of great academic significance for promoting the inheritance of Chao opera art.

It is worth mentioning that under the impetus of the first International Teochew Opera Culture Seminar, Guangdong Chao Theatre has reached an agreement with a number of Teochew opera performance groups in Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand and other places, and decided to establish the Guangdong Chao Opera Heritage Center in four cities in these three countries. The graduation ceremony of the seminar on the same day also held the unveiling ceremony of the "Cloud" of the New Matai Chao Opera Heritage Center. It is reported that the four heritage centers will promote close ties between overseas communities by carrying out activities such as overseas Teochew opera publicity, teaching, exchanges, and performances, improve the level of protection and inheritance of Chaoju opera and international influence, and enhance the cultural identity and home and country feelings of overseas Chinese and overseas Chinese.
After the unveiling ceremony, an international teaching achievement report performance combined of offline and online was also held on the spot. With the theme of "Passing on the Drama for Love", the participants from various countries and regions reported their learning achievements through online and offline forms, focusing on the learning achievements of the students in the past month.
