Changan Automobile said that in the face of the ups and downs of the new crown pneumonia epidemic, chip supply shortages, power rationing and production limitations and the in-depth changes in the automotive industry under the unprecedented changes in a century, the company focused on scale, market share, profit improvement, strengthened marketing traction, and paid close attention to the improvement of business quality, achieving sales of 2.301 million vehicles in the whole year, an increase of 14.8% year-on-year, and the market share increased by 0.8 percentage points year-on-year, returning to the fourth place of the automobile group; Changan Chinese brand car sales of 1.755 million units, an increase of 16.7% year-on-year, Ranked second in the industry; Chinese brand narrow passenger car companies ranked second in the industry, and the gap with the industry first was 63.7% smaller than in 2020.
In addition, in 2021, The Changan Passenger Brand and Auchan Brand achieved sales of 966,000 units and 228,000 units, respectively, an increase of 20.0% and 49.0% year-on-year, respectively, and performed significantly better than the narrow passenger car industry. Changan passenger cars and overseas sales reached a record high, and the sales of new energy vehicles exceeded 100,000 for the first time, an increase of more than 200% year-on-year, which was significantly better than the industry; the sales scale of auchan brand returned to 200,000 vehicles, and the transformation effect began to appear. At the same time, Changan Ford achieved sales of 305,000 vehicles in the whole year, an increase of 20.3% year-on-year, achieving "two consecutive increases" year-on-year, SUV models and high-end cars contributed more than 70% of sales, of which the Lincoln brand sales that completed the landing in that year were 89,000 vehicles, an increase of 109.1% year-on-year.
It is reported that Changan Automobile continues to build intelligent products with leading performance, and the "Beidou Tianshu" plan has landed strongly. In 2021, the APA6.0 remote intelligent parking system was released, which supports automatic positioning within 30m range, controls remote parking through mobile phones, and the parking accuracy of small parking spaces reaches the industry-leading level; more than ten industry-leading smart cockpit and intelligent vehicle control functions such as mass production AR navigation, four-screen linkage, gesture control, track mode, and intelligent greeting and sending guests bring users excellent car experience.
At the same time, Changan Automobile accelerated the construction of intelligent core capabilities of "Core Diagram Core Cloud Nettian", established a forward-looking technology research institute to carry out cutting-edge technology research such as chip design, crowdsourced maps, and artificial intelligence, and built a Changan Automobile Intelligent Computing Center to support intelligent driving and vehicle networking services. On this basis, the first Changan Automobile Science and Technology Ecological Conference will be held to jointly build the next generation of intelligent vehicle super digital platform SDA with industry partners, and will take the lead in realizing the service-oriented central ring network architecture in 2023.
