I remember when I participated in the SARS epidemic in 2003, my mother cried and said, "Pay attention to safety, rest safely." So this time I chose to hide my parents and specifically told my husband not to tell them. I simply said goodbye to my husband, did not have time to tell the children, took their worries, packed my luggage, and came to the isolation ward building of the People's Hospital.
On the 7th, the next day I was assigned to ward 4 of the Infection Department, and we quickly became familiar with the procedures of each class. In the ward, I found that many mothers and fathers with children were very anxious, as a mother of two children, motherhood was rampant, so I became a white mother in the ward, taking the child to do exercises and reading with the child.
Once, while working in a semi-polluted area, I saw a child making noise through the glass. There is a family of three living in this ward. Grandma in her nineties, middle-aged dad, a baby over a year old. Dad is a novice baby dad at first glance, with no experience with the baby, but also to take care of the elderly grandmother, busy, seems to be particularly anxious.
At this time, I was not only a nurse, but I was also a mother of two children, and it was very painful to see the crying child without his mother, so I took out my mobile phone and put a cartoon on the baby through the glass. The little baby looked at me, then at the cartoon, and soon quieted down, watching the cartoon intently, watching and watching it still clapping his hands and smiling with me, and dad smiled at me gratefully and thanked me.
After work, I checked the literature and found that there was a lot of literature on meditation to alleviate the anxiety of medical staff, and suddenly my brain was open, thinking: Meditation can also alleviate the anxiety of patients! Under the leadership of Nurse Hu Xuyun and with the help of Chief Nurse Wang Zhengyun, it is planned to put a speaker in the ward to play relaxed and pleasant music to the patients at three meals a day to promote the patient's appetite; play half an hour of meditation music to the patient before going to bed at night to help the patient fall asleep; the disinfection time of the ward in the morning and afternoon, leading the patient to do exercise in the corridor of the ward to enhance the patient's immunity... Sound, music, and gymnastics were all ready, and we suddenly received the news that we were going to evacuate, which was a pity! Always want to do something for the patient, even a little!
So before the evacuation, I added some relatively anxious Moms and Dads in the ward to send them videos of meditation music and exercise exercises, let them listen to them before meals, before going to bed, sanitize time in the morning ward, take the children to do exercises in the corridor, exercise exercise, and enhance their immunity. ... I thought: Maybe these methods may be of little help to patients, but they will be able to feel our warmth. And human warmth is always the best medicine in the world.
On April 23, I evacuated my ward and went to the hotel to quarantine. Although people arrive at the hotel, they still have the patient in mind. So I often send messages to ask them about their situation, telling them to listen to music and do gymnastics. What makes me particularly happy is that some patients have really improved their sleep after listening to music and exercising. Listening to their sincere thanks, I felt that no matter how tired and tired I was, it was worth it.
After the valley rain, there is no cold, and the fangfei in the world has warmed up. I believe that no matter how cunning the virus is in the future, it will always be the virus that is ruthless and sentient. Although my comrades and I are also mortal flesh, as long as the patient needs it, we will definitely put on the "battle robe" and put on the "armor", charge forward bravely. I also believe that in the near future, we will finally break through the darkness and usher in the dawn!
