Speaking of "Kenshan Ming" we cannot fail to mention "Lingbi Kenshan". For thousands of years, a strange stone called "Yanshan Mountain" has fascinated generations of stone lovers, and in the long history of Chinese stone appreciation culture, there are three collectors of this "Lingbi Yanshan Mountain", and they are Li Yu, Mi Fu and Zhao Tuo.

Our story begins with Li Yu, the lord of the Southern Tang Dynasty. According to the "Iron Walled Mountain Series Talk":

Li Yu, the lord of the Southern Tang Dynasty, had a strange stone "Lingbi Yanshan" (referring to the Lingbi Stone with ink ponds) that was long and long, and the thirty-six peaks in front of it were as large as fingers, and the high one was called HuaFeng. The jagged ones are square altars, followed by sun rocks, jade shoots, and so on. Each peak has its own name, and there are three folds of the lower cave and the upper hole. The left and right sides are chiseled into bricks in the middle of the pit bull on both sides of the strait.

Li Yu cherished this stone very much, and when the soldiers approached the city and the country changed hands, he still returned to the palace, preferring to be a prisoner and take the "Lingbi Yanshan" to escape, the city was destroyed, Li Yu was eventually captured, and since then the Yanshan stone has disappeared.

So, how did such a treasure get into Mi Fu's hands?

According to legend, on the wedding night of the great calligrapher Mi Fu in the Song Dynasty, his wife Li Shi gave the heirloom to Mi Fu. Why does Lady Mi have this treasure? It is said that Li Shi was the grandson of Li Yu. When giving the "Lingbi Yanshan" to each other, the third chapter of the Law "shall not transmit this to others". There are three reasons why Mrs. Mi gave this "Lingbi Yanshan" to Mi Fu: one is because Mi Fu loves the stone as her life; second, because Mi Fu is a calligrapher and painter, and can be appreciated and available for "Ling Bi Yan Mountain"; third, the Ling Bi Stone is an eternal and unchangeable thing, symbolizing the eternal love of husband and wife.
