On 25 April 2022, Lamborghini announced the roll-off of the 20,000th Huracán: an eye-catching matte Grigio Acheso (grey) STO model for customers from the Principality of Monaco. The road-compliant supercar Huracán STO (Super Trofeo Omologata), which has a racing soul, represents the peak of performance of Huracán road models, further expanding the Huracán family. Since its launch in 2014, the Huracán series has continued to deliver amazing performance experiences to customers with a unique dynamic handling and driving passion.

Eight years of success since 2014
The success of the Huracán model has lasted for eight years, during which time 12 road versions and 3 racing versions have been introduced, and the rich product range has made the Huracán model attractive over time. Since 2014, customers have opted for the hardtop and convertible models, which accounted for 71% and 29%, respectively. In terms of market performance, over the past eight years, more than 32% of Huracán models have been delivered in the US market, ranking first, followed by the UK and Chinese markets. This solid success continues to this day: The Huracán models have made an outstanding contribution to the brand's record sales in 2021, delivering a total of 2,586 units, a significant increase, partly due to the positive response from customers to the Huracán STO.
2014: First hard-to-roof model LP 610-4
The first Huracán hardtop version, the LP 610-4, debuted at the 2014 Geneva Motor Show, features four-wheel drive and delivers 610 hp of power, accelerating from 100 km/h in just 3.2 seconds and a top speed of 325 km/h. Innovative parts of the model include the Lamborghini ANIMA driving mode selection system, the LPI inertial platform system with on-board gyroscope, the dual fuel injection system and the all-vehicle LED light source, becoming an industry pioneer in the supercar segment. Unveiled at the Frankfurt Motor Show in September 2015, the Huracán LP 610-4 Convertible is powered by a 5.2-litre naturally aspirated V10 engine that delivers the same power as the hardtop version, accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.4 seconds and a top speed of 323 km/h.
2015: Huracán LP 580-2 brings a rear-drive driving experience
Compared to the four-wheel-drive Huracán LP 610-4, the Huracán LP 580-2 is rear-wheel drive and is powered by a lower-power engine, the same 5.2-litre V10 engine that delivers 580 hp, 533 Nm peak torque and a top speed of 320 km/h. Without four-wheel drive, Lamborghini engineers were able to reduce the Huracán LP 580-2 by 33 kg, resulting in a net body weight of only 1,389 kg. Unveiled at the Los Angeles Auto Show in November 2016, the Huracán LP 580-2 rear-drive convertible is also powered by a 5.2-litre naturally aspirated V10 engine that delivers 580 horsepower. In 2016, the World Limited Edition of 250 Huracán Avio models was unveiled, paying homage to its aerospace inspiration in a unique style.
2016: Huracán Performante debuts a new Lap Record in North New York
In 2016, the Huracán Performante, which produced up to 640 horsepower, took a strong hit: the model was powered by Lamborghini's patented ALA active aerodynamic system, which set a new set set lap time at the Nürburgring Nordschleife and won awards around the world. 2019: The new Huracán EVO – the new generation of the V10 supercar – is introduced
In 2019, Lamborghini launched an evolved version of Huracán , the Huracán EVO. The discerning design further optimises aerodynamics and driving dynamics, with the new Model, which perfectly inherits the exceptional performance of the Huracán Performante, delivers up to 640 horsepower, rear-wheel steering and torque vectoring, and is equipped with the new Lamborghini LDVI Vehicle Dynamic Control System with predictive logic. The Huracán EVO Convertible edition features a new generation of vehicle dynamic control and aerodynamic design developed for the hardtop version, and is equipped with a 5.2-liter naturally aspirated V10 engine with titanium inlet valves for a more powerful power output. In 2020, the Huracán EVO Rear-Drive Edition was released, a lightweight model with rear-wheel drive and dynamic steering designed for ultimate driving pleasure, delivering 610 hp at 8,000 rpm and 560 Nm peak torque at 6,500 rpm. Acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h takes only 3.3 seconds and a top speed of 325 km/h. In the same year, Lamborghini released the new Huracán EVO rear-drive convertible version for the first time through augmented reality (AR), becoming the first car brand to use the technology for a virtual launch of a new model. 2021: Huracán STO – The essence of Lamborghini's sport is ingrained
Launched in 2021, the Huracán STO (Super Trofeo Omologata) is a road-compliant supercar that embodies Lamborghini's racing experience and expertise, inspired by the Huracán Super Trofeo EVO racing car developed by Squadra Corse Racing Sports for Lamborghini's single-label event. as well as the Huracán GT3 EVO car, which has won the Daytona 24 Hours and the Sebring 12 Hours 2 times. The Huracán STO is powered by a 640 hp naturally aspirated V10 engine that delivers 565 Nm of torque at 6,500 rpm. The Huracán STO in the form of rear-wheel drive accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3 seconds, 0-200 km/h in just 9 seconds, and a top speed of 310 km/h.
2022: Huracán Tecnica – a double-sided supercar built with extreme design and excellent engineering
In April 2022, the latest model of the Huracán family, the Huracán Tecnica, was introduced, a new rear-drive model with a V10 engine designed for motorists who pursue pure driving pleasure and a great lifestyle on the road and on the track. The Tecnica name exemplifies the technological prowess of the new Huracán, and the details of the innovation are evident from the inside out. The new exterior design further emphasises aerodynamics, improving performance, stability and ease of handling, especially on the track. 60% of Huracán use ad Personam for advanced personalization
More than 60% of the Huracán delivered has been made with Ad Personam Premium Personalisation, covering a wide range of colours, decorative details and special materials. The Ad Personam Premium Personalisation program is now available in around 300 exterior color options, but customers can also request unique color customization. Customers in Central Europe, Japan and the UK are more inclined to personalise. Everyday items such as furniture, sofas, bags, clothes, and even cosmetics (eyeshadow, nail polish), gemstones and straps are all sources of inspiration for Lamborghini customers, who are free to create styles that reflect their tastes, personality and the state of everyday life.
Huracán Police Car – represents the brand's long-standing relationship with the Italian National Police
Lamborghini has a long-standing relationship with the Italian National Police and has delivered several Huracán models, which are mainly used for medical emergencies. In 2020, a Huracán completed the transport of transplanted organs spanning 489 kilometers from Padua to Rome in just over two hours.
