Attila Langhammer of the German branch of Autohome preemptively brought us a test drive experience of the new Lamborghini-Huracán Tecnica. This is a model between the EVO and the STO, and this test drive is a prototype that is very close to the production version, but you can see a lot of new car features, so let's take a look!
Huracán Tecnica integrates the characteristics of many models very well: such as the Exaggerated Rear Wing of the Performante, the fierce front face, the large size diffuser, or the STO's carbon ceramic brakes, the reinforced 5.2L V10 engine, and the unique style of the rim, all of which highlight its extreme weight and performance.
In terms of power, the Huracán Tecnica is powered by a 5.2-liter naturally aspirated V10 engine with the same STO version, which has a compression ratio of 12.7:1, a top speed of 8000 rpm, a maximum power of 640 horsepower and a maximum torque of 565 Nm. The dry weight of the new car is only 1369 kg, and its weight-to-power ratio is 2.15 kg/hp.
In terms of drivetrain, the Huracán Tecnica is matched with an optimised 7-speed dual-clutch transmission and a rear-wheel drive system with torque vectoring. Its acceleration time from 0-100km/h is 3.2 seconds, and the acceleration time from 0-200km/h is only 9.1 seconds, and the top speed can reach 325km/h.
Lamborghini launched such a model that can find a perfect balance between the road and the track under the STO version and on top of the four-wheel drive EVO version, which can be said to greatly meet the needs of its owners for its multi-faceted use.
In the next 2023-2025, Lamborghini will gradually complete the hybridization of the brand's models, and sports cars using large-displacement naturally aspirated engines have difficulty surviving the increasingly stringent emission regulations on fuel vehicles.
