The Ferrari 296 GTS features a new 120° V6 engine with a maximum output of up to 663 cv and is paired with an electric motor with an output of 167 cv (122 kW). For the first time, the powertrain was used in the Ferrari 296 GTB.

Its sporty design and extremely compact body design fully reflect the modern shape of the new car. At the same time, the design is inspired by models such as the Ferrari 250 LM of 1963, showing the perfect combination of pure style and excellent functionality. The powertrain consists of the turbocharged V6, which powers the rear wheels with an 8-speed DCT and E-Diff, and the MGU-K, which sits between the engine and the transmission. A clutch is set up between the fuel engine and the electric motor to separate them in pure electric eDrive mode. Finally, there is a high-voltage battery and an inverter that powers the electric motor.
