In the sound of books in April, in front of the school, I saw clusters of bauhinia flowers, and I met them at the corner of the dot dyeing. Inheriting history to open a new chapter, Perrin came and went calmly. The predecessor of Tsinghua University is Tsinghua Xuetang, which was once the cradle of Tsinghua's cultivation of talents, and the famous Tsinghua "Four Great Teachers of Chinese Studies" - Wang Guowei, Liang Qichao, Chen Yinke, and Zhao Yuanren all taught here.
In November 1914, Liang Qichao delivered a speech entitled "Gentleman" in the Tongfang Department of Tsinghua's earliest auditorium, quoting the sentences in the "I Ching" such as "Tianxingjian, gentlemen with self-improvement" and "terrain Kun, gentlemen with thick virtue", encouraging Tsinghua teachers and students to strive to be strong, "to set an example for society" and "to be the mainstay of the mainstream". Tsinghua University's motto "Self-Improvement, Virtue Carrier" originated from this.

In the autumn of 1925, Wang Ganchang stepped into the gates of Tsinghua with excitement. When he looked at the three strong and thick characters of "Tsinghua Garden", his heart was full of pride. Wang Ganchang spent 5 years of unforgettable study time in Tsinghua, where he made up his mind to take the road of scientific salvation, and always worked tirelessly to realize the wish that "the motherland needs to be stronger", becoming one of the founders of nuclear weapons research on the mainland. The story of Ginkgo biloba moves forward, with a golden posture, sparklingly spreading out, walking to the door of the second school, green bricks and white pillars silently speaking, and standing on top of the sky, just like the way of a gentleman.

As one of the "most glorious buildings with the most glorious history" in Tsinghua, the auditorium is solemn and majestic, symbolizing the spirit of Tsinghua people's "firm, simple and indomitable". When you appreciate a building, you may think of: the beams of wood can carry the years; the beams of people can rejuvenate the family.
The famous architect Liang Sicheng read a lot of books, studied the history of architecture in depth, and vowed to create an architectural language of our own nation. He applied the modern scientific method to the study of ancient architecture, insisting that the study of ancient buildings must first be carried out field investigation and mapping, and strive to be meticulous, rigorously drawn, well-founded in analysis, and rigorous in governance. The scale of the building is grand, and the master's wind and bone are even more mountainous and long, giving us unlimited touch.

The outer wall of the third classroom building is engraved with eight characters of "rigorous, diligent, realistic and innovative", which was proposed by Li Chuanxin, who was once the party secretary of Tsinghua University, which is a condensed and powerful exposition of the academic style of Tsinghua students. Li Chuanxin constantly pursued the truth and devoted his life's energy to the development of the school and the party's educational cause.

The Industrial Hall was once an imperial garden of the Qing Dynasty and witnessed the history of Tsinghua University. In the early days of the establishment of the school, the houses of the IZI Hall were mostly teachers' residences except for administrative office space. Mei Yiqi, who has just arrived at Tsinghua University, teaches mathematics and physics, and lives in the West Courtyard of the Industrial Character Hall. Whenever it is late at night, through the lights, people can always see him buried in the preparation of lessons.
In his inaugural speech when he became president of Tsinghua University in 1931, Mei Yiqi put forward the famous theory of "masters and buildings". He has widely absorbed talents for the tree peach and plum, and created a very distinctive path of running a school. During the War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression, Mei Yiqi went south to Kunming and presided over the Southwest United University for 8 years, making it a legendary monument in the history of Chinese education. The dark incense models, the begonias and bauhinia flowers in the IZI HALL, reflect the ancient rhyme of the cornices, and have also witnessed the light of countless ideas here.
North Courtyard

The lush grass slope sun is just right, the lush shadows of the vines fall in the eyes, here was once the residential area of the North Courtyard where Tsinghua famous teachers gathered, it was the residence of many famous scholars, Liang Qichao, Chen Daisun, Zhu Ziqing and other more than 30 professors have lived here, and the deep literati mood of the North Courtyard was born.
In 1925, Ye Qisun, an outstanding physicist in the mainland, was hired to preside over the establishment of the Tsinghua Department of Physics, moved to No. 7 North Academy, and lived for 27 years. He once asked his chef to turn the kitchen into a small canteen, and young teachers who returned from studying abroad often came here to eat and exchange ideas. Nowadays, the north courtyard is full of herbs, the fragrance of flowers is as old as ever, and the green bricks of the long corridor are simple, telling a period of historical feelings. As you wander, time slows down.
Mizuki Kiyoshi

On a summer night in July 1927, Zhu Ziqing paced the lotus pond in Tsinghua's Near Spring Garden, with a thousand thoughts, leaving behind the classic "Lotus Pond Moonlight", which not only showed the footsteps of upright intellectuals wandering forward in the midst of suffering, but also expressed his love for this scenery.
At the edge of today's Mizuki Qinghua, Zhu Ziqing's statue still quietly gazes at the quiet water. This garden is elegant, containing lush grass and trees, wandering between, always seeing the moonlight constantly, waiting for summer to come, waiting for the lotus wind to rise.

The curtain on the stage is slowly opened, the lines come and go, and the taste of life slowly emerges, all of which are the painstaking efforts of the pen. Cao Yu is a titan of modern Chinese drama and is known as the "Shakespeare of China". In 1929, Cao Yu entered the Department of Foreign Languages of Tsinghua University and immersed himself in drama. At the Tsinghua Library, Cao Yu began the creation of "Thunderstorm". Whenever he conceived of a headache, he walked out of the library, and the spring breeze greeted him, inspiration or appearance. In the summer of 1933, "Thunderstorm" was finally born, when Cao Yu was 23 years old.
At night, the new Tsinghua Academy always seeps out bright lights, and the creation is not smooth, but it is still necessary to explore up and down with enthusiasm.
West Gymnasium

As one of the four major buildings in the early days of Tsinghua, the West Gymnasium was once the most advanced gymnasium in China, and the statue of the famous physical educator John Ma stands on the south side of the West Gymnasium. John Ma has worked at Tsinghua University for 52 years, working hard for the formation and promotion of Tsinghua sports tradition, and his advanced sports ideas have become a banner of Tsinghua Sports.
