Musk envisions how humanoid robots function in a home environment rather than a work environment. Host Anderson refers to Optimus Prime as some sort of personal butler, and Musk calls Optimus More like a buddy robot with many useful applications and forms, one of which is Catwoman.
As for the price of Optimus Prime, Musk said: "I don't think the cost is actually going to be ridiculously high, maybe lower than a car." But he didn't say what kind of car it was, but Anderson estimated it at $25,000 .000.
