On October 19, 2024, the youth research activity of "Exploring the Frontier of Science and Technology and Leading Future Innovation" Artificial Intelligence Innovation and Application Expo carefully planned by the association kicked off at the Qingdao International Artificial Intelligence Innovation and Application Expo. The purpose of this activity is to broaden the scientific and technological horizons of teenagers, stimulate children's interest and enthusiasm for scientific and technological innovation, experience the charm of AI intelligent technology, understand the fun of practice, cultivate independent thinking and problem-solving skills, and stimulate the spirit of innovation.
This research activity is divided into four chapters
The first chapter is a visit to an artificial intelligence company
As soon as the teenagers stepped into the A4 Artificial Intelligence Pavilion, they felt as if they had traveled to a bizarre future world, and were instantly attracted by the dazzling array of smart devices and products in the museum. From robots that can navigate autonomously, to smart devices that can recognize and respond to human commands, to deep learning models that mimic human thinking, every technology is a messenger of the future, telling them about the infinite possibilities of tomorrow.
The second chapter is to experience AI innovations
Knowledge is no longer cold words, but a vivid reality. Teenagers experienced the intelligent duel of chess-playing robots and felt the extraordinary ability of AI in decision-making and strategy. Step into the world of VR and experience a thrilling and immersive adventure, as if you are in a cinematic fantasy scene; Appreciate the smart charm of digital people, and feel the warmth and companionship brought by technology; Shuttle freely in the smart city and experience the convenience and wisdom of future life; Feel the speed and passion of intelligent driving, and appreciate the infinite possibilities of future travel... In addition, the teenagers also interacted with humanoid robots, which are highly intelligent and autonomous robots that not only have realistic appearances and smooth movements, but can also interact with voice and express emotions.
In the interaction with them, the teenagers more truly felt the latest achievements of artificial intelligence technology in various fields, and also experienced the infinite fun and possibilities brought by technology, so that the dream of science and technology can take root in their hearts.
The third chapter is a popular science lecture on the theme of "Exploring AI".
In this era of rapid technological change, AI has quietly become a super engine to promote social progress! The popular science teacher uses easy-to-understand language to introduce the basic concepts, development stages, principles, application fields, and cutting-edge technologies of AI to teenagers, so that teenagers can fully understand how AI gradually has "wisdom" through learning, reasoning, and self-optimization.
We have set up a series of fun quizzes related to AI technology in the classroom. The teenagers actively participated, scrambling to raise their hands to answer, their faces filled with confidence and excitement. In the process of answering the questions, they not only consolidated the knowledge they have learned, but also stimulated new thinking and sparks of wisdom in the interaction with their classmates. Every correct answer is like putting a pair of wings on the AI dream in their hearts, making them more determined to fly towards their dreams.
Chapter 4 creates the future for hands-on practice
In addition to theory, there is more practice! The close integration of theory and practice is an important part of our research journey. Here, theoretical knowledge is no longer an abstract concept in books, but has been turned into a real creative tool in our hands. By creating their own small works, teenagers can exercise their hands-on ability, innovative thinking and problem-solving ability in practice, and experience the fun and sense of accomplishment of creation.
