The new car uses split headlights, thus replacing the one-piece angel eye headlight design used by BMW for many years, the upper part is a double L-type LED day running light, the lower part is a near and far integrated laser headlight, and a large size grille is also used, which is simply a wonderful combination of squinting eyes + large nostrils.
It is worth noting that the grille supports active opening and closing, but also has a lighting function, which has a wonderful light and shadow effect after lighting, and the recognition of driving at night is extremely high.
On the side, due to the mid-term redesign, the overall silhouette has basically not changed, it is still quite tough and thick, its body size is 5162mm/2000mm/1819mm, the wheelbase is 3105mm, positioned in a large SUV.
Although the rear of the new car has changed, it is not as thorough as the front of the car, the taillights retain the outline of the old model, the style has been upgraded, more three-dimensional, and the middle is also connected by a chrome trim strip.
In addition, in addition to ordinary models, the new X7 also offers an M kit version, which is more aggressive.
The interior of the new car has been greatly upgraded, and the X7 has used the same one-piece dual screen of BMW's flagship SUV model iX for the first time, but the size has been increased, which is composed of a 12.3-inch dashboard and a 14.9-inch central control screen, and adopts a curved design.
In order to create a sense of luxury, the new X7 central control also uses light wood grain decoration, and the air conditioning outlet has become more slender, which complements the entire countertop.
The new car still uses crystal gear levers, but it has become very small, and the smaller size makes the gear shift area more regular, but such a large car, with such a small electronic gear lever, does not feel very matched.
The new X7 uses two-tone seats, available in six- and seven-seat versions, such as ventilation, heating and memory, and the second row is also electrically adjustable.
In terms of power, the overseas version of the xDrive 40i model is equipped with a 3.0T six-cylinder engine + 48V light hybrid system, the maximum power is 280 kW (380 hp), the peak torque is 540 Nm, and the 0-100 km/h acceleration is about 5.8 seconds, which is matched by an 8-speed automatic transmission.
The M60i xDrive model is equipped with a 4.4T V8 engine + 48V mixing system, with a maximum power of 390 kW (530 hp), a peak torque of 750 Nm, 0-100 km/h acceleration of about 4.7 seconds, and is matched with an 8-speed automatic transmission.
The car also offers a diesel version, but it has little to do with domestic consumers, so it will not be introduced here.
It is foreseeable that due to the use of a new, and controversial front face, the current X7 will definitely be spit by many people in the early stage, but it is still that sentence, day after day, it looks good, and it is also possible to completely fall in love with it.
