Zhong Zhenzhen answered: It is the girl in the boudoir playing chess alone. There is no mention of anyone else in the word, and there is no sign of "playing against" people not long ago.
The words about Shuangyan are often used to reflect the loneliness of the lyrical protagonist (mostly women who are separated from their lovers and are alone). There are many such examples, just five poems of the Tang and Song dynasties, to see a glimpse (one is too few to explain the problem; ten is too much, afraid that the reader will be impatient):

The "Yan Double Return" in this article is also this routine. The implication is that the heroine's lover has not returned.
"Turn over" and see the heroine to "Nichinishi"--when the sun has reached the west, she is still lazily lying on the bed. She turned around to "straighten out the mess" and rethink the game she was about to finish. "Authoring" is the same as "writing". "Playing chess", that is, "playing chess" and "playing chess". As for whether the game of chess was not finished when I was with my lover in the past, or whether I played it alone yesterday or today, the words did not explain. Why not confess? Because it doesn't matter. What is important is the last sentence - "Deep groaning should be delayed".
Some scholars believe that the last two sentences show the confusion and unable to discharge the melancholy of the characters in the words, which are expressed through the actions of the characters themselves, turning back to sort out the residual chess pieces and wanting to continue to play, in order to transfer the sorrow, but because of the heavy heart, they hesitate and fall slowly.
At first glance, this explanation seems to make a lot of sense. But on closer inspection, it is not so simple.
Friends who like to play chess know that chess is the most difficult time to consider when it comes to the endgame. If you are not careful, you often never have the opportunity to save the game. Therefore, I had to "groan" - hesitate, ponder; I had to fall late. That is to say, no matter whether there is a "heart matter" or not, when "rectifying the residual chess", the fall will not be fast.
"Robbery", "should be robbed", are both Go terms. In the case where both black and white sides surround each other's chess pieces, if the black side first "mentions" a white child, the white side can also "recall" the black side's just dropped one. In this cycle, the chess cannot be finalized. This is the "robbery". This "open-ended" ending can mobilize the reader's opinion, participate in the "Gestalt" or interpretation of the meaning of the word from various dimensions, and form an "interaction" with the author, which is very clever.
