Dongfeng Motor sold a total of 848,400 new vehicles from January to March this year. Among them, the cumulative sales of passenger cars in the first quarter were 707,000 units, and the total sales of commercial vehicles were 141,400 units. It is worth noting that the independent brand passenger cars in the passenger car sector sold 172,300 units in the first quarter, ushering in a year-on-year increase of 63.6%, indicating that Dongfeng Motor's autonomous passenger cars have a good growth trend. Instead, the joint venture brand passenger car only grew slightly by 4.6%, and the growth rate slowed down.
However, it is precisely with the sales of 534,600 units of the joint venture brand that dongfeng motor has supported half of the sky, especially the two major japanese joint venture brands Dongfeng Nissan and Dongfeng Honda. Among them, Dongfeng Nissan sold 244,200 vehicles and Dongfeng Honda sold 208,900 vehicles, and the cumulative sales of the two were 453,100 units, which shows the importance of these two joint ventures to Dongfeng Motor. In addition, Dongfeng Infiniti sold 0.25 million units and DPCA sold 31,500 units.
In terms of self-owned brand passenger cars, Dongfeng Fengshen sold 45,900 units, Dongfeng Fengxing sold 41,800 units, Venucia sold 28,800 units, and Lantu sold 0.37 million units.
In addition, a total of 141,400 units were sold in the commercial vehicle field, including 33,500 units of Dongfeng Commercial Vehicles, 42,600 units of Dongfeng Co., Ltd., 0.91 million units of Dongfeng Liuqi, 10,600 units of Zhengzhou Nissan, and 0.59 million units of Dongfeng Huashen.
