The strange story of Jia Baoyu's birth of jade, not only Leng Zixing, an antique dealer, knows, the King of Northern Jing has long heard about it, Qin Keqing came out of the funeral, the King of Beijing set up a sacrifice shed Road Dian, and also specifically asked Jia Zheng: Which one is the one who was born with the title of treasure? Several times I want to see each other, but I am hindered by the cumbersomeness, and I think I am coming today, so why not invite you to come for a while.
As readers, we also all know that Jia Baoyu's psychic jade, although in his eyes, is a Rausch son, because of the quarrel with Daiyu, he has thrown jade many times, but in the eyes of Jia Mu, Madame Wang and others, it is a life root that cannot be lost, and once it is broken or lost, it is going to happen.
Therefore, the psychic jade of baoyu is kept by the handmaiden, who is responsible for keeping it every day, and wears it with him during the day, and at night, it is carefully taken off, wrapped in a handkerchief and stuffed under the mattress.
It was Wang Xifeng, when Qin Keqing stopped the Ling tie sill temple, because Jia Mu and Lady Wang were not around, he was also afraid of Bao Yu's accident, especially afraid that the spirit jade would be lost, and he would have to bear the responsibility, so when Bao Yu slept, she ordered someone to take it and stuff it on her pillow.
What's so peculiar about this thing? After the leprosy monk performed a great illusion and turned the stone into a beautiful jade, he once said, "The form is also a treasure, and there is only no real benefit, and it is necessary to carry the number again, so that people can know at first sight that it is a strange thing." ”
What words did this leper monk carve on the psychic jade? It wasn't until the eighth time, when Jia Baoyu Xue Baochao exchanged gold and jade to watch, that we had to go into detail. It turned out that the front of this psychic jade was written with eight words: Mo Lost and Forgotten, Xianshou Hengchang. Twelve words were written on the back: one to eliminate evil spirits, two to cure unjust diseases, and three to know misfortunes and blessings.
That is to say, the total of twenty words on the psychic jade is not the work of the acquired man, but the treasure jade has been there since the first fall of the mother's womb, which was brought by nature. And, "There are ready-made eyes on the top." ”
The reason why Jia Mu and Madame Wang take care of this object so much is probably because of the eight words on the front of the psychic jade, the meaning is also very clear, as long as this piece of jade is worn every day, don't lose it, don't forget, this jade can keep the owner healthy and long-lived.
There are two auspicious words, which are brought out of the womb of the mother, although "even the family does not know the origin", but obviously regard it as a treasure with a good omen, and it must be beneficial to wear it often.
What about the twelve words on the back? According to that literal meaning, it seems that this psychic jade has some kind of divine power, which can play a huge role at key moments, and even save Baoyu's life is unknown.
If we go back to the original text and find the correspondence one by one, then which of these three events and twelve words hint at what happened to Baoyu?
The first thing, we can easily find the correspondence, the twenty-fifth time in the original text, Bao Yu Fengjie was demonized because of Ma Daobao's spell casting, seeing that the two were not able to do it, just at this critical juncture, a monk appeared together, and the leprosy monk held the psychic jade and recited it for a while, and then ordered it to hang on the door, and Bao Yu Feng sister gradually improved.
This should be the first function of psychic jade - to eliminate evil spirits. It can even be said that this was the first appearance of Psychic Jade and saved Baoyu's life, which was also the first catastrophe he experienced in the earthly world.
The fundamental cause of Baoyu's devastation lies in the contradiction between Aunt Zhao's mother and son and Fengbao's two sisters and brothers, and the Buddhist family has eight sufferings, one of which is called "resentment and hatred", which is probably also the main cause of Baoyu's robbery.
The second thing, because the Red Chamber is not finished, we can't seem to find a direct correspondence in the first eighty times. One of the assumptions given by Mr. Zhou Ruchang, a master of red studies, is that this "second cure for unjust diseases" refers to the death of Qingwen Qu and Bao Yu's wounds.
This general direction is right, but I privately think that even if Baoyu is injured and sick because of Qingwen's death, it seems unlikely that he will use the psychic jade to hold the recitation to save his life, and Baoyu's great disaster is more likely to mean that after Daiyu's death, Baoyu suffered a major blow, fell ill, and died.
In the original text, the thirtieth time and the thirty-first time, Lin Daiyu once quarreled with Baoyu, once joked with the attackers, and mentioned twice that he was dead, while Baoyu said twice half-jokingly and half-seriously, "You die, I will go as a monk." From this, we can see the weight of Daiyu in his mind.
Let's imagine, in the future, when Dai Yu dies in tears, what will happen to Bao Yu when he learns about it? From the "Hui Zi Juan Love Words Try Busy Jade" once, we can roughly infer the reaction of Bao Yu in the future.
In order to promote Bao Dai's love, Zi Juan wanted to see Bao Yu's feelings for Dai Yu, so he pretended that Dai Yu was about to return to Suzhou soon, and as a result, he provoked Bao Yu's stupid illness, and the whole person immediately became stupid, how to be useless, if it were not for the timely appearance of Zi Juan, Bao Yu was afraid that it would be difficult.
Dai Yu is not dead yet, just a false message back to the south, this idiot will "eyes are also straight, hands and feet are cold, and the words are not said... Half dead! If you hear the news of Daiyu's death in the future, how Jia Baoyu will react, you can imagine it.
After hearing that after Daiyu's death, Baoyu must have reacted more strongly than after hearing the news that Zi Juan had lied about Daiyu's return to the south, and would definitely be unconscious, bedridden, and his family would delay medical treatment in every way, but none of them worked, and seeing that people were no longer able to do it, at this time, a monk just happened to appear together, and took out the spirit jade and recited it once, and Baoyu saw an improvement.
This is the second great catastrophe that Baoyu experienced, and moreover, this incident should have happened before The Second Treasure got married after Daiyu's death, from the attitude of The Second Treasure after the marriage of the Baoyu, the air facing the crystal snow of the Mountain Gaoshi, and finally not forgetting the worldly immortal Shu Lonely Lin can be known, even if he has gone through this great catastrophe, he still remembers his Lin sister, which also lays the groundwork for his later renunciation.
What about the "three knowledges of misfortune"? This should not be difficult to deduce, probably related to the fall of Jia Province.
According to Cao Gong's foreshadowing buried in the first eighty times, as well as the hint of Li Yanzhai, Jia Baoyu's psychic jade should have been lost. In his comments, Li Yanzhai mentioned two things related to Jia Baoyu, one was Liang'er stealing jade, and the other was Feng Jie sweeping snow and collecting jade.
Liang'er stealing jade should be a mistake (the eighth fat batch: "Sai Yu" section is also "mistakenly stolen" a volt line), and Feng Jie sweeping snow to pick up jade should refer to the eighty times after the Baoyu lost jade section, this section also has the Yuan Chun Province's relatives ordered the drama "Immortal Edge" after the fat batch Fu Zhen Baoyu sent jade corresponding.
It is believed that the three blessings of the psychic jade are closely related to its sudden loss, and its loss is precisely because it knows the misfortune and blessing, so it is lost. Psychic jade has spirituality, and in the future it has a premonition that the Jia Fu Mansion will fall, and this also implies that it will be exhausted, so it is lost to warn Jia Baoyu and even the people of Jia Fu that Jia Fu is not far from the family and the dead.
Shortly after this, Jia Fu was confiscated, the descendants of Jia Fu died and scattered, and Bao Yu was trapped in the prison temple, and after experiencing some scattered poverty, he had a complete epiphany. This is the third greatest catastrophe of his life.
And Baoyu should also choose to become a monk on the cliff shortly after knowing the misfortune and blessing, and Zhen Baoyu sent jade, it should be after Baoyu left home, he sent the psychic jade that had gone through a period of sadness and joy to the cold world, to the great desolate mountain nonsense cliff Qinggeng Peak, the psychic jade reproduced the original face of the stone, the above stone record story.
