Dell announced the launch of a new Series of Precision mobile workstation products, of which the Precision 5470 uses a 14-inch screen and weighs only 1.48kg, which Dell says is the thinnest and most powerful mobile workstation at present. The Dell Precision 5470 comes with an InfinityEdge narrow bezel display with optional FHD+ or QHD+ resolution, 16:10 ratio, and coverage of 100% Adobe RGB and 99% DCI-P3 color gamut.
In terms of hardware configuration, the new Precision 5470 is equipped with intel 12th generation Core Mobile processor codenamed Alder Lake-H, up to 14 cores and 20 threads i9-12900HK, and the graphics card is to provide NVIDIA's RTX A1000 professional graphics based on ampere architecture, or Intel's just announced ARC A30M Pro discrete graphics. Up to 64GB of DDR5-5200MHz is available, and up to 4TB pcIe NVMe Gen4x4 SSDs are optional for storage.
It is worth mentioning that Dell has designed a new cooling system for the Precision 5470, with dual in-seat outlet fans and a bonded hinge architecture that improves exhaust to improve heat dissipation efficiency. In terms of interfaces, the Precision 5470 offers four Thunderbolt 4, headphone jacks, microSD card slots, and device lock slots.

Other precisio family additions include the Precision 5570 and 5770.
