After the gaming graphics products have adopted the Navi 24 GPU core of the 6nm process, AMD has also recently brought us the mobile professional graphics cards Radeon Pro W6500M and Radeon Pro W6300M using the Navi 24 GPU.
In terms of specifications, the W6500M is a full-scale core, which uses 16 compute units, 1024 stream processors and 16MB of unlimited cache, equipped with 64-bit 16GHz 4GB GDDR6 video memory. In this configuration, its FP16 half-precision floating-point performance is 10.61TFLOPS and the FP32 single-precision floating-point operation performance is 5.3TFLOPS. Thanks to the low performance, its entire card power consumption is only 35-50W.
The W6300M, on the other hand, was slashed with only 12 compute units, 768 stream processors, 8MB of unlimited cache, and video memory was reduced to 32-bit 16GHz 2GB. Its half-precision floating-point performance is 6.75TFlops, and the single-precision operation performance is 3.37TFlops, which reduces the power consumption to only 25W.
The system bandwidth of these two graphics cards also only supports PCIe 4.0×4, which can support 4K H.264/H.265 video decoding, hardware optical tracking, remote workstations, 8K displays, VR creation, HDR Ready and quad buffer stereoscopic development packages, as well as professional certifications for many professional software such as Autodesk.
The two mobile graphics cards are rumored to be built for mobile workstations and will not be sold separately, but will be available at a later date this year in oem products in specific countries.
In addition, AMD has released a desktop-grade professional graphics card, the Radeon Pro W6400, which will be available in the first quarter of this year, with a suggested retail price of $229.
