On March 31, Xiaomi announced a new full-color laser theater, which uses a short-throw projection solution, using silicon-based liquid crystal (LCoS) display technology, and equipped with RGB tri-color laser light source.
As can be seen from the official product detail page, the projector uses a monolithic LCOS projector, and its light hits the chip in a similar way to the current mainstream single DLP, which synthesizes images under the rapid switching of red, blue and green screens. The projector has an LCoS specification of 0.37 inches, so its physical resolution is 1080P.
In other aspects, Xiaomi full-color laser cinema advertises brightness up to 1400 ANSI lumens, color gamut up to 95% Rec.2020, the processor is equipped with Amlogic 64-bit 4-core T982 processor, built-in 2GB of memory + 16GB storage, support MEMC motion compensation, audio through the DTS and Dolby Atoms dual certification. At present, the official price of Xiaomi full-color laser theater is 6499 yuan.
