IT Home reported on January 9 that Samsung once again showed the Ballie spherical projector at this year's CES exhibition, and hopes to be able to act as your personal family companion.
Samsung had shown off the Ballie at CES 2020, a small, spherical robot with two narrow wheels and a pill-shaped cutout at the front that housed different sensors, cameras, and a full projector.
Calling it "your true AI companion," Samsung is not only a mobile projector, but also a home environment that follows you and responds to your needs.
Samsung shows several use cases in the video, where users can prompt Ballie to feed their pets and check on their pets when they are not at home. Ballie can start a live stream and call a smart pet feeder to provide fresh food to the cat.
When the user returns home, Ballie will greet the user and follow you at all times to serve your needs. IT Home attaches the video as follows:
Ballie can be used as a phone screen to make video calls with others, as a fitness assistant to project workout videos, or as a cookbook on the wall while you're cooking.
