Wang Peijing, | Slip Academy: The sound of music in the evening

In the early autumn evening, go for a walk in the park not far from your accommodation. Following the footsteps of the people in front of me, along the path, I entered a new world.

The grass on the ground was so beautiful, so neatly trimmed that it was like laying a green carpet over the earth. The grass is also high and low, flat and sloped, and the layers are clear. There was water, trees, and reeds in the low-lying area, and not far away, there was a beautiful miniature landscape.

Walking on the soft grass and looking at the blue sky in the distance, I stopped and sat involuntarily on the grass. I don't know how long I sat, I lay down again, and then rolled on the grass a few times, feeling that I was not happy, so I simply took off my shoes and put them in my hands, and used my foot board to walk on the grass.

After walking for a long time, the sky darkened a little, and suddenly I felt a little tired. At this time, I found that there was another water surface in the low-lying place in front of me, and the shadows of the trees on the shore were beautiful in the water, so I took out my mobile phone to take pictures.

After taking the photo, I walked endlessly at the water's edge, and I could hear my own breathing quietly all around, when suddenly a rhythmic voice came from the water: "Croak", which was somewhat low and somewhat familiar. Ah, it's the frog chirping!

The sound was all too familiar, and it accompanied me throughout my teenage years. After the heavy rain in the summer, in the dam north of the small mountain village in my hometown, the sound of frogs in the water rises and falls, and it is not lively. At this time, thousands of frogs are like in a chorus, with a lead singer, a chorus, a piece of music, and they can play from the evening until dawn.

When we were teenagers, my friends and I used to go to the river to mow grass and take a bath, and from the beginning of summer, we could hear the frog chirping sporadically. They hid in the water grass on the surface of the water or in the grass on the shore, staring at the eyes, drumming their cheeks, and their round bellies were like a loud speaker that could resonate, and then their songs became particularly loud, and the harmony of "croaking" could be heard hundreds of meters away.

Thinking of this, I stopped moving forward. "Croak", the frog chirped as if contagious, first only one frog called out, followed by several others in response. I walked softly and quietly left the river, afraid of disturbing their cooperative concert.

I think I can hear this "croak" every night in the future, the years have passed, but every time I hear it, this cry can make me retrieve the memories of my childhood.

"Croak", this is the cry of a frog, the sound of evening music, and the sound of childhood memories!
