SAIC-GM Buick insured 33,963 units in February, down 36.8% year-on-year and 58.8% month-on-month, and the cumulative number of insured vehicles in January-February was 116,352 units, down 26.9% year-on-year. Among them, Yinglang has the highest sales volume, and GL8 is thriving in the MPV market, an increase of 12.5% year-on-year.
Dealers revealed that the current purchase of 2021 Yinglang (including 1.5L and 1.3T versions) has a cash discount of 40,000 yuan, with a preferential margin of 35%; the price of GL8 models is still firm, and there is basically no discount at this stage.
According to the retail sales data of the Association, the new Yinglang sold 12,925 vehicles in February, down 30.6% year-on-year; it sold better than Emgrand and Sagittarius, and obviously lagged behind competitors such as Xuanyi and Langyi. In order to increase sales in March, dealers have recently stepped up their promotional efforts.
