"Journey to the West" is broad and profound, many details in it are worth recalling, there is a question I don't know if everyone has considered, when the Eight Precepts of the Pig were in the Heavenly Court, when marshal Peng, even the Buddha had to honor him as a saint, why couldn't he even mix with the Buddha after the end of the sutra?

Some friends may question, when did Rulai honor the Eight Precepts of the Pig as a saint? It is too high to raise the Eight Precepts of the Pig, in fact, it is not, although there is no clear statement in the original work that the Eight Precepts of the Pig are honored by the mouth of the saints, but we can see through reasoning that the Eight Precepts of the Pig are indeed qualified to make Rulai holy. The seventh time in the original book is described as follows:

Ru Lai asked, "What is the matter with the Jade Emperor, bothering the Second Saint?" ”
The two people who are called saints are the Youyi Lingguan tongyi saint zhenjun, and this yisheng zhenjun and the canopy marshal are the same as the four saints of the Arctic, and the marshal of the canopy is the head of the four saints of the arctic, so it can be seen that when rulai sees the eight precepts of the pig, he must also be honored as a saint. Since rulai respected the old pig so much in the heavenly court, why was it that after the end of the sutra, the eight precepts of the pig could not even be mixed with a Buddha, and could only be a bodhisattva who was a messenger of the pure altar? In a word, it is said that this time and another time are also.
Specifically, there are five aspects. First, the Eight Precepts of the Pig offended the Jade Emperor and was demoted to the mortal world, he went from the marshal of the canopy to the end, not even an ordinary immortal, directly became the demon king of the mortal world, and there was no good color for the demon king heavenly court, if he could take him in, how could he be crowned as a Buddha? Isn't this against the Jade Emperor?
Second, the Eight Precepts of the Pig is the second disciple of the Tang monk, and his status is of course also under Sun Wukong, Sun Wukong was named buddha, and the third disciple Sha Monk was named a bodhisattva, so the old pig can be sealed or not, but the bodhisattva position is already very high in the Buddhist sect, so it is okay to choose him as a bodhisattva.
Third, for the sutra collection, the contribution of the Eight Precepts of the Pig is not particularly large, he does not attach importance to the sutra, does not fully exert the strength of the former canopy marshal, and repeatedly says some negative words, and even wants to scatter the luggage, so that if he comes, he will certainly not be able to look at it, and it is not low to be able to seal him as a bodhisattva.
Fourth, after the Eight Precepts of the Pig joined the team of sutras, they did not do a good job in many aspects, and if such a person was named a Buddha, it would make many people resentful of the Buddhist sect, such as the Eight Precepts of the Pig never chanting the sutra and worshiping the Buddha, eating and lazily doing it, and being greedy and lustful, and even openly flirting with the Moon Palace Palace in public. If such a person becomes a Buddha, you will not accept it, right?

Moreover, he is not active in his work, and he has repeatedly published inappropriate remarks, who dares to give him a high-paying and high-ranking position, are you encouraging everyone to be passive and slack? So not only did you not dare to name him a Buddha, but I guess you didn't dare to reuse him, right?
