The AC Hall of Heroes mythical story is too much of a failure! It's not as good as the previous Odyssey.

Assassin's Creed: Temple of Heroes launched the Doomsday Dawn DLC on March 10, and Evol entered the dream world to accompany Odin the God King on a journey through Norse mythology. Since the new DLC is mythologically themed, it's natural for players to compare it to the Greek mythology of Assassin's Creed: Odyssey. Many fans believe that Assassin's Creed: Odyssey clearly deals with mythology in a way that is more in line with the game's theme and core than Assassin's Creed: Temple of Heroes.

The myths in Assassin's Creed: Odyssey define history and culture in a way, creating huge open worlds where these myths are widely known. Featuring Medusa, the Minotaur, Cyclops and the Sphinx, Assassin's Creed: Odyssey all of the natural elements are integrated into a hidden and secret world. As they explore, players will learn that these are experiments by juno and Aita, the Isu people, and that these secrets are linked to the series' science fiction roots.

In DLC, Kassandra or Alexios needs to explore these new story lines and reconstruct memories. Malaka is not without reason in Atlantis, where DLC has propelled the development of past and modern storylines. Without the "Atlantis" DLC from Assassin's Creed: Odyssey, the story of Assassin's Creed: The Temple of Heroes would not have been able to connect.

Assassin's Creed: Odyssey associates mythology with history, secrecy, and Isu, while Assassin's Creed: Temple of Heroes mythology is even more disconnected. This is important for the reincarnation of the Isu sage in Norway, but this myth is filled with so many stories and so little is told about it. Not to mention, it was used to erase the god-king experience of Ayver. In order to experience these memories through this lens, she must drink a special medicine and enter the dream.

However, this huge twist dominated the entire marketing of Assassin's Creed: The Temple of Heroes— turning his own identity into a non-existent male rival. In short, the mythology presented in the base game does not respect the main story, nor does it respect the characters, and does not add much content to the game world.

What's more, the mythological stories in Assassin's Creed: Odyssey drive the story forward, while the aforementioned ones are made up of lengthy situational information. The introduction of the "Dawn of Doom" did not promote the development of the Isu line. Fans are curious about a lot of things, like how Aver returned to Vinland and was buried there, but DLC didn't explain them.

"Doomsday Dawn" is the third DLC and the only one that is truly mythologically related, but none of them drive the story forward. Without the mythological story of Assassin's Creed: Odyssey, and the Atlantis DLC, Assassin's Creed: Dawn of Doom would have little to do with the history and world of the series.
