Assassin's Creed: Temple of Heroes "Dawn of Doom" expansion pack feature gameplay introduction

The next expansion to Assassin's Creed: Valiant, Dawn of Doom, will be released on March 10. Unfolding Evol's past and present lives for Odin, the Norse god of omnipotence, the new story continues from Assassin's Creed: Temple of Heroes to Asgard's mission, and discovers that Odin has come to the dwarf kingdom of Swat Elheim in search of his kidnapped son Badr. Features new powers and over 35 hours of expanded gameplay.

The power of the gods

Wearing the legendary new wrist armor called Hugr-Rip, Odin is able to gain powerful abilities from fallen enemies, which opens up new possibilities for gameplay and strategy development. Unlike the abilities unlocked through the exposed Book of Knowledge as you advance the main game, these abilities gained from enemies are not permanent and are driven by exploration.

Odin can only acquire two abilities at a time, and if a new ability is discovered, the player can only choose to keep one of them until the next time they are reunited in the world. These abilities don't need to be maintained by adrenaline depletion, and remain effective as long as Odin's Hugr scale remains full. These five abilities unlock new strategies that allow players to customize their own god-level play style.

The Power of the Crows enables Odin to transform into — you guessed it — a crow. In action, it can help Odin fly thousands of miles and carry out aerial assassinations, swooping down to attack unsuspecting enemies. In this series, which is accustomed to relying on the bird companion as the chief Assassin kamchatka region, it is interesting to see such an ingenious way of stealth.

The Power of Musbeelheim can turn skin into lava, making Odin look like one of the main deadly enemies, Musberheim. In action, this ability allows Odin to pass through lava unscathed, which is useful in the lava-infested dwarf kingdom and allows Odin to sneak past other Musberheim without being detected.

The Winter Force injects Ice power into Odin's weapons and unleashes devastating attacks. In a country ravaged by Musbelheim and relying on fire and lava for combat, this is simply an invincible artifact!

The "Force of Jodenheim" allows Odin to move short distances while rolling and dodging. He can also shoot arrows at the World Knot (think of a magical target that glows), teleporting directly from a distance, making it relatively easy to cross areas that are unbearable for ordinary people.

The "Power of Rebirth" allows Odin to resurrect enemies who have been killed by him but whose abilities are still alive, and turn them to his own use. Some of the abilities are suitable for stealth, but watching Odin form a small army to quickly cross the fortress makes my Viking nature can't help but think of reviving the underworld everywhere.

Artifact equipment

Doomsday has a new weapon category, the Viking Slasher. These long-bladed, long-rod weapons can be combined with a mix of light and heavy attacks to deal a certain degree of damage. Players can also discover legendary "God-level" equipment throughout Swat Elheim. Although Odin's abilities are exclusive to this expansion pack, this equipment can be transferred to Evol's stockpile and used in the main story of Assassin's Creed: Temple of Heroes.

Valkyrie's trials

Do you think Odin's exploits are not legendary? Then you can challenge the "Trial of the Valkyrie" arena style battle, where Odin will show his invincible divine power. Each battle is framed by a retelling of Odin's various heroic deeds, so players will encounter familiar faces and bosses who have been defeated in the story inside the arena.

But how can the glorious history not come to a point... Icing on the cake? Before each battle begins, Odin can choose up to 14 Boast (Challenge Regulators), keeping his heroic story of vs. Valkyrie quite readable. Each additional Boast selection increases the challenge of the battle, but also wins more generous rewards.

In addition, this expansion pack has the following exclusive features:

Like Evol, players can choose a gender for Odin.

By discovering the hideouts of the dwarves during his exploration, Odin can form alliances and upgrade equipment and abilities in these hubs.

Similar to Odin's "Power of Rebirth", Musbeelheim has a class of enemies called Flamekeepers, which can be used to resurrect low-level enemies and turn against them. Do everything you can to get rid of them as soon as possible.

As with Assassin's Creed: Temple of Valor, which focused on the original Asgardian storyline, players will discover the connection between the gods of Norse mythology and their connection to ancient Assyria. I've always been passionate about Assyrian plots, and I'm so excited about it!
