A few days ago, the author learned from relevant channels that Dongfeng Mavericks will also launch a new model in April, speculating that it is the M50 double-row pickup truck model previously exposed by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology.
According to the information exposed by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the body size of the Dongfeng Maws M50 double-row model reaches 5320*2310*2020mm, the cargo box size reaches 1410*2200*380mm, the wheelbase is 3800mm, the total mass reaches 6000kg, the curb weight is 4050kg, and the rated load mass is 1690kg. The tire size is 305/80R18.
At the chassis level, although it is a non-load-bearing body, it is equipped with front and rear double wishbone suspension, approaching angle 45°, departure angle 32°. At the same time, as a hardcore off-road pickup, the car can also be equipped with wading exhaust pipe, wading hose, tire central inflation and deflation system, and dual generators.
In terms of power, it is equipped with Dongfeng Cummins' 4.0T four-cylinder diesel engine, with a maximum power of 143kW and a maximum torque of 600N·m, which is matched by a 5-speed manual transmission, and at the same time, the new car will also be equipped with 70/50 main and secondary fuel tanks, with a maximum cruising range of 600km.
According to the product planning of Dongfeng Off-road Vehicle Co., Ltd., Dongfeng Mengshi will launch more civilian products in the future, including Dongfeng Mengshi M51, Dongfeng Mengshi M20, etc., to form a complete civilian model layout to meet the needs of Chinese consumers for civilian off-road special vehicles.
