After a year of early education, why is it just a lonely?
Nowadays, many families take their babies to early education classes from a very young age. But many parents feel that the money is not spent less, but the effect is not seen - giving up and reluctantly, insisting and no reason, it is really a dilemma!
Why is that? Early education is very useful for children! Yes, science has proved that 0-3 years old is the golden age of children's brain development, seize this time, you can lay a solid foundation for children's development.
So what's the problem? It's in the pattern. Nowadays, many early education classes are sold 1-2 times a week, every time parents take them to class, go home and do not follow up with the supporting exercises, it is natural to see no effect, because this violates the child's development law!
Neurons in the brain are already present when the child is born, and as the child's experience in the environment accumulates, these neurons begin to make connections between them, forming neural pathways. Although the internal transmission of neurons is transmitted by electrical signals, as long as the myelination process is carried out normally, information transmission can be achieved; but the connection between neurons and neurons is conducted through chemicals, there is not enough repetition, the concentration of these chemicals does not reach a certain level, and the neural pathway cannot be established.
What does this process look like? Let's make a figurative analogy. Let's imagine that the child's brain is like a vast grassland, where there is no road. When an environmental experience arises, it is as if you have walked from point A to point B on the prairie once, which does not leave any obvious traces. But when the same experience is repeated over and over again, it is as if the path from point A to point B is repeated a lot, and slowly the path becomes apparent and the pathway is formed.
So, the environmental experience 1-2 times a week, to the child, is like a meteor crossing the sky and does not leave much trace. In particular, many early education classes are parent-child forms, and parents accompany them, so institutions rarely give the same experience to let children repeat, because parents will definitely complain: why every time they come to class, it is these contents!
If it is such a class 1-2 times a week, it is not so much for children as for parents. Parents have access to high-quality ways to interact with their children. As Montessori education concept has always emphasized, no matter how good schools and classrooms are, they need home co-education to achieve better results.
In such a classroom, we can ask the teacher about the development points of children of this month, what teaching aids and activities we can provide to assist the child, and we can also learn from the teacher how to interact with the child. Then we go home and follow the teacher's instructions and continue the exercises to create repetitive experiences for the baby to assist in the development of his brain. As long as parents have patient persistence and companionship, the baby's progress can certainly be seen.
